Sehr moderne, gut ausgestattete und saubere Zimmer (wir hatten das etwas grössere Eckzimmer), bei denen ein Fenster einen Spalt geöffnet werden kann. Nachts relatv ruhig und sehr gute Lage mit Metro-Nähe. Äußerst freundliches Personal an der Rezeption, das auch eine Mini-Matcha-Teezeremonie anbietet. Frühstück eher mit Schwerpunkt auf japanischen Speisen, aber für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Absolutely the best! Hotel 1899 Tokyo is perfectly located—just 10 minutes from the vibrant Shimbashi Station and a short walk from Tokyo Tower, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. The hotel is quiet, spotless, and the rooms are amazing. The beds are spacious and supremely comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The breakfast is a highlight—delicious, fresh. Every staff member we encountered was exceptionally polite and helpful, going out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Without a doubt, this will be my go-to hotel every time I visit Tokyo. Highly recommended

everything was perfect and nice . only 1 point to raise is the hardness of the mattresses. I like firm mattresses but those at the hotels were way too firm causing a painful back pain . you can ask mattress tops to make it softer but still too firm. because of the mattresses , I am hesitating to go back.....

I stayed here as a solo traveller. Room size i choose was perfect for one person or a couple. Was very clean and staff were very kind. Good walking distance to Ginza, Tokyo Tower and Hama-rikyu Gardens.

This was our second stay at Hotel 1899 Tokyo, and we are so glad we chose it again. The location is excellent, situated between two train stations: Shimbashi Station (a 10-minute walk and just two stops from Tokyo Station) and Onarimon Station (only 5 minutes away). It’s incredibly easy to reach major attractions like Tokyo Tower and teamLab Borderless. The surrounding neighborhood is remarkably quiet and clean. While the rooms aren't large, the furniture is thoughtfully arranged to maximize space. The breakfast is perfect, and the complimentary teas are a wonderful touch. If you aren't carrying excessive luggage, the hotel is easily accessible from Haneda Airport via public transportation.

The location is excellent,10 min walk from Shimbashi Station, that is 2 stops from Tokyo Station. Also there is another station 8 min from hotel. The area around is quiet. The breakfast was excellent.

A clean, charming hotel tucked into a quieter corner of the city — exactly what you want after long days of exploring. The space is compact but thoughtfully put together, and the staff genuinely go above and beyond. A great base without the noise and chaos of more central areas. Highly recommend.

Nice area, not overly busy. Quick walk to Shimbashi train station (only 2 stops from Tokyo!). I love firm beds but if you prefer softer bedding, then I’d suggest asking for a mattress topper to assist. Friendly hotel and staff! Thankyou for our stay.

Room was cleaned every day, hotel was quiet, and front desk staff was always helpful with questions. The hotel is situated close to a lot of places we wanted to go, so we were able to rest if we got tired.
