Everything is well appointed. Clean rooms, friendly staff, quiet and spacious (for Tokyo) room. The only downside is a bit of walk from station unless if you are planning to take taxi to and from.

Das Hotel ist gut mit dem Nahverkehr erreichbar und umgeben von vielen Convenience Stores. Das Hotelpersonal war stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Koffertransport zum Hotel oder weg zu anderen ist möglich. Unser Zimmer im 9. Stock war sehr schön und ordentlich. Das Hotelfrühstück haben wir nicht ausprobiert.

A nicely themed hotel about Japanese tea. The rooms are (for Japanese hotels) reasonably sized and well furnished e.g. the safe is big enough for a large iPad. The breakfast is reasonably priced. In a quiet location with access to major transport station only about 12 minutes walk away.

For those wanting to stay in a quieter part of Tokyo that is still very close to trains, nightlife, and food - this is it. The hotel is beautiful and comfortable and quiet (which I very much appreciate). Even though the pictures make the rooms look small, we were able to settle in just fine with two big suitcases and a few duffle bags for five nights no problem. The tea service is great, and we enjoyed the breakfast one morning. The staff are very friendly. This was a great home base in Tokyo.

This was one of the best hotels my husband and I have stayed in! We had the corner deluxe twin and the layout was great and extremely comfortable. The beds were quite hard, but it did not end up bothering us. The shower was great, and the separate little closet room for luggage was so nice. The in-room amenities were awesome (shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, razors, slippers, etc). The location was also convenient to Shimbashi station which we used for most of our exploration (about a 12 minute walk). The area right around the hotel is nice and quiet but there is a Lawson’s and 7/11 right there. The Shimbashi neighborhood is vibrant and fun and a very short walk. We would definitely stay here again!

Extremely friendly staff and cooperative, very clean room and more importantly (for me at least) sufficiently quiet to have a good night of sleep, fun Japanese breakfast, all around a good night of sleep and stay, to use again if I can.

Sehr moderne, gut ausgestattete und saubere Zimmer (wir hatten das etwas grössere Eckzimmer), bei denen ein Fenster einen Spalt geöffnet werden kann. Nachts relatv ruhig und sehr gute Lage mit Metro-Nähe. Äußerst freundliches Personal an der Rezeption, das auch eine Mini-Matcha-Teezeremonie anbietet. Frühstück eher mit Schwerpunkt auf japanischen Speisen, aber für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Absolutely the best! Hotel 1899 Tokyo is perfectly located—just 10 minutes from the vibrant Shimbashi Station and a short walk from Tokyo Tower, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. The hotel is quiet, spotless, and the rooms are amazing. The beds are spacious and supremely comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The breakfast is a highlight—delicious, fresh. Every staff member we encountered was exceptionally polite and helpful, going out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Without a doubt, this will be my go-to hotel every time I visit Tokyo. Highly recommended

everything was perfect and nice . only 1 point to raise is the hardness of the mattresses. I like firm mattresses but those at the hotels were way too firm causing a painful back pain . you can ask mattress tops to make it softer but still too firm. because of the mattresses , I am hesitating to go back.....

I stayed here as a solo traveller. Room size i choose was perfect for one person or a couple. Was very clean and staff were very kind. Good walking distance to Ginza, Tokyo Tower and Hama-rikyu Gardens.
