I stayed at the bene hotel for one night in October 2013. I arrived in the evening, and the exterior appeared to be Jewish and more impressive than some of the other yonezawa hotels we passed by on the way there in the darkness of night. The lobby appeared simple and bright but clean. We checked and got to our room quickly and easily. We had the largest room type available, and ours was on the eighth level. The interior was typical of a business hotel in Japan. Wallpaper, small room, firm bed, single window, and an allison bathroom feel like a prepackaged unit being put in place in a corner of the hotel room in one piece. While the room generally appeared clean on the surface, I noticed white stains, I have my assumptions about what this might be on the bed skirt and some pealing wall paper. I also opted to pay for the breakfast, which I think 800 yen per person, and had the option of either western or Japanese style. We chose the western style and enjoyed a full breakfast of eggs, yogurt, fruit, toast, soup, salad, and unlimited use of the drink bar juice, coffee, etc. The reason for the low score is the value. The room cost 13, 700 yen, a little artisan town in the middle of nowhere. There is no compelling reason why a room of this quality at this time of year should be
