Accommodation tax will be collected separately in accordance with the Nagano Prefectural Ordinance and Karuizawa Town Ordinance from June 1st, 2026.
■Tax of accommodation (per night per person)
The tax varies depending on the accommodation fee.

·6,000 JPY or more and less than 10,000 JPY 　200 JPY (100 JPY prefectural tax + 100 JPY town tax)
·10,000 JPY to less than 100,000 JPY 　250 JPY (100 JPY prefectural tax + 150 JPY town tax)
·100,000 JPY or more 　　　　　　 　700 JPY (100 JPY prefectural tax + 600 JPY town tax)

Starting 1 June 2026, changes in local tax regulations will require guests to pay an Accommodation Tax at various updated rates, which will be collected separately by the property at check-in. The tax is determined based on the room rate and is charged per person, per night, as follows: 【Accommodation Tax from 1 June 2026, onwards】 For room rates less than JPY 6,000: None For room rates JPY 6,000 or more: JPY 300 (*JPY 200 for the first 3 years after the program starts) *For the purposes of the accommodation tax, the term “room rate” shall refer to the room-only rate, excluding meal charges and consumption tax. * Please settle the payment at the hotel upon check-in, even if you have paid by credit card in advance. *Applicable conditions for taxes, etc. are determined by each local government. Starting April 1, 2026, light breakfasts will be subject to a charge. Guests wishing to enjoy a light breakfast at the hotel should select a plan that includes light breakfast.
For preschool children (ages 3 to 6) entering the breakfast venue, an additional fee of ¥600 is required at the front desk.

Up to 1 child (under 6 years old) can sleep free of charge per regular bed *extra bed not included.
For "Twin Room for 1 Person - Non-Smoking", no extra children are allowed in existing bed.
Children over 7 years old is considered as adult.
For room type Superior Twin Room, Family Room, Family Room for 4 People, the property will provide extra bed when the room is booked for more than 3 guests.
