This time of hotels( only for adults) are much better when usual hotels for the same price. Rooms are bigger, more comfortable, big bath. Owner met us near metro station and every morning bring us to metro. These kind of hotels in Japan also name Love hotel and special made for couples who want spend comfortable time together. If I know before the trip, I would stay in these hotels all the time. In one hotel we even had sauna.

Very friendly staff, even drove me to closest JR station when I checked out. The location is a little farther walk from main JR stations, but it is not far from a lot of main attractions. Room comes equipped with all amenities. Staff speaks a little English, but can understand most requests.

Very happy with my stay at this hotel. The room was great. Very Spacious and comfortable with a large bathroom and living area. Breakfast was also provided every morning which was appreciated. The location is also great as it is right next to the Arashiyama monkey park and other tourist spots such as the path of bamboo and Tenryuu-ji. The service was brilliant. The couple that runs the hotel were very friendly and helpful at all times. They drove us to our destination every morning which we were very grateful for. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to visit Kyoto.

Important! Owner is fantastic. Call him at 075-871-8817. He will pick you up at any of the 3 train stations close by. We stayed 3 nights. He also took us to the train station in the morning. This is classified as a love hotel The hotel is next to the river, it is quiet but the service you get is outstanding. Arashiyama is were the Bamboo Forest is, a must see, the Tagetsu-kyo bridge across the river is famous, there is a temple there and it is a small town feel. I 1st went to Japan some 40 years ago. This was like visiting Japan back then, all without the big buildings and traffic, though there is foot traffic from all the visitors. The Bamboo Forest is gorgeous. Plenty of resturants and 3 train stations. The JR Line Hunkyu line and the Randen (Romance train)

Am Anfang etwas ängstlich, was uns in einem Erwachsenenhotel erwartet, würden wir jetzt jederzeit wieder kommen. Der Hotelbesitzer ist sehr nett, die Zimmer sind für japanische Verhältnisse sehr groß, die Lage ist (wenn auch etwas außerhalb) sehr idylisch am Fluß, viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe und wenn es mal weiter weg gehen soll, stehen kostenlos Fahrräder zur Verfügung (die gut in Schuss sind). Zudem sind die Zimmer sehr ruhig und die Check-in Zeiten sind flexibel. So durften wir schon um 11 Uhr in unser Zimmer. Der Hotelbesitzer hat uns bei der Abreise sogar zum Bahnhof gefahren. Alles prima also.
