My husband and I are visiting our son, who lives north of Tokyo. We decided to take an excursion south to Enoshima. We enjoy fresh inn. Take the Tokaido line from Tokyo station to Dakara. Get off at the Fujisawa stop about 50 minutes southwest of Tokyo Station. We stayed at this fantastic boutique hotel directly near Fujisawa Station. Twin beds, spacious and cozy. A very large westernstyle bathroom. This would be a fantastic home base for anyone visiting during the 2020 Olympics. Our one-night rate is 120 US. Fujisawa has numerous restaurants with excellent English-friendly dishes, and the beach area is only 10 minutes away. A great destination location, an outstanding hotel, and a beach are all within 50 minutes of Tokyo.

During our trip to Kamakura and Enoshima, we stayed at the Sotetsu Fresh Inn Fujisawa. We initially wanted to stay in the kamakura area, but we're glad we did. Staying in Fujisawa is much more restful. We took the oaky line from shizuku station to Fujisawa, and the journey took about an hour. As we arrived early and our room wasn't ready, we left our luggage at the hotel reception after checking. The fujisawa south exit Minamiguchi is a 3-minute walk from this hotel. It is also close to the end of the train station Fujisawa and the end of the bus station platform number 3. We took the end of the train to visit Kamakura, had a fantastic 30-minute train ride from Fujisawa to Kamakura. And took the bus to Enoshima, saving the hassle of walking from the end of Enoshima station to Enoshima. The rooms are roomy and clean despite it's excellent position. Breakfast is served on the floor at a western-japanese buffet. Although some will complain, the selection is plentiful. Overall, we had a great time staying here.

2 minutes by walking distance from Fujisawa station south exit. A typical business-style hotel with a tiny but spotless room. The fact that the room is safe is the only drawback. Various restaurants and stores are close by. For 600 yen day ticket purchases for the been completed are really worthwhile. It gets to all the attractions available along the coast, including Kamakura. We had a fantastic day doing this. To get some neighborhood tips, visit the pleasant, helpful staff at the station's tourist office upstairs, on the level of the or line.

Breakfast wasn't good. But the whole experience of the hotel was very accommodating and very welcoming. I will definitely stay again. 4 stops from enoshima and 6 stops from kamakura on the end line. So close and convenient! Good food nearby too.

I will return. For two weeks I remained here on business. The location was excellent, with many tasty restaurants and shops close by. The rooms were small but cozy. The breakfasts were excellent, with many options. The lessons next door were convenient in case I required ice cream in an emergency. There were no annoying noise issues. Wifi was excellent the entire time.
