The Koko Hotel residence is located in a relatively convenient place and offer generous sized rooms. We opted for a room with bunks for our family of three and it worked perfectly. The staff were great with plenty of things available to borrow for free, such as irons and hairs dryers, alongside a table full of free items that you may have forgotten. Located a 10-15 minute walk from the riverside area for restaurants and shops, I’d recommend it.

Tout consideré, c‘était excellent. Chambre propre et spacieux. Staff aimable et prêt à venir en aide, bien situé. Bémols: il n‘y a que 3 lave-linges, partagées, et il y avait parfois de l‘achalandage. Aussi, il n‘y avait pas de chaises dans la chambre, et on n’était donc incapable de tous nous asseoir ensemble (nous étions 5). Il n‘y avait qu’un divan qui était bon pour 2.

Great location! It was a smaller room but they make use of the space really well. The staff was friendly and helpful and they had a full bar of amenities available for use. The coffee shop next store also serves and amazing breakfast

Stayed in a family room with 4 beds. Very comfortable with a large table and small kitchenette. One of the issues with a family room is the bathroom situation. This worked great because there were 3 sinks and a totally separate toilet from the shower so you could have 4 people doing bathroom stuff at the same time. Location was good

The room was excellent. Spacious and fully air conditioned which was a nice respite from the Kyoto heat. The location was easy to get to and easy to access other things we wanted to see since it was on a readily available train route. The furniture showed a little wear and tear but overall the room was very clean. I would absolutely stay here again.

Room good for family. Has a mini kitchen that you could prepare your food inside the room. Regular beds were ok but the extra bed (futon) we had in our room was kind of stiff. Located in a quiet area, 10 minutes walk to Nijo Castle, 8 mins walk to karasuma station, around 3 stops away from Kyoto Station.
