Service was better than anticipated, the location was ideal, additional amenities like luggage storage, a fridge with water, a relaxing public bath, a nice buffet breakfast, and the overall price was reasonable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying more than one night.

Its a pretty nice experience! To explore Kyoto for a day and evening, we took the shinkansen from my daughters home in Tokyo. Our future laws required us to experience a nice Japanese hotel before departure, so we were given a night's stay at the Missus garden. Although it was off the main road, it was very close to all the kyoto attractions. Since some of our family traveling from the us left passports at my daughters home, we were a little scared at check-in because some of our family had left passports at my daughters house, but the reception staff politely came to an agreement and sent us a photo copy. This hotel is quite clean and beautiful. The rooms were the most spacious of any hotel we stayed in Japan. There was a vast variety of breakfast options. I would strongly recommend staying here for a more traditional, enjoyable hotel visit. I later discovered online that tattoo covers are acceptable at the onset, but I wasn't aware at the time, so those of us with tattoos did not have the opportunity to enjoy the onset during our stay, but we still had a great experience.

Everything was better than expected. service was very professional, the location was great, extra bonuses like baggage service, fridge with water, relaxing public bath, nice buffet breakfast, and overall very reasonable price. I would recommend this place to anyone staying longer than one night.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Besides that, the atmosphere is quite peaceful and welcoming. Apart from being close to Karasuma station, exit 6, and starbucks on the corner of the block, it is only a very short walk away. I suggest this hotel for anyone looking for a place to eat before starting your day of activities. The room was quite spacious and peaceful. There was nothing left unclean. I once had breakfast in the hotel. Although the cuisine is very diverse and wellcooked, I thought it was more expensive than we had anticipated. Every other day, we eat there. Dinner is not served by the restaurant. Hotel guests can use one-onset baths for singles. In this activity, wear your courage because you will be washing and bathing with other people of your gender. According to the sign, tattoo covers are available at the front desk.

The hotel is located in the business district and is also on a major shopping street. The room is wellappointed and very comfortable. On the lower level is good and well kept. Nearby are a good local sushi bar, a popular yoga bar, a western bar, and steakhouse, as well as several coffee bars. There is a fantastic supermarket within three blocks, and there are several excellent bakeries. Subway is within a block, and nearby major business houses. Staff are great and very helpful.
