I'm really happy with the cleanliness, and the green tea and water bottles that were offered every day were a plus and a reminder of how Japan loves keeping things healthy. Easy to use washer and dryer. Nobuyuki, one of the reception staff was professional, helpful and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome at the hotel. He even gave me some tips on places to visit in Tokyo. Overall very happy!.

Before going to Kyoto, I spent one night there with my family. It's simple to find the hotel and is located close to Sugar and the Yamamoto Line. The staff are pleasant. The Smile Hotel is surrounded by numerous restaurants and izakaya beer drinking places. You can also go to Jizodori shopping street and Granny Hajuku, both located on the opposite side of Hassan Dorm Hassan Street. Please be aware that the sugar region has a number of cemeteries. The Smile Hotel is a good option if you don't like staying near cemeteries. The cost of this hotel is a little expensive, and there are no family rooms. Our family stayed in two adjacent rooms, which wasn't very convenient.

It is a business hotel that is close to the railway station, a grocery store, and a family mart. It's quiet at night. The only thing that I dislike is that the bathroom is very small and requires a significant step up to get in. It wouldn't have been an enjoyable stay if not for the typhoon, earthquake, and train closing. Thank goodness I had purchased the breakfast package because all the restaurants were closed! It was simple, delicious, and enjoyed everything both Japanese and American European tastes.

The check-in process went smoothly. The room was excellent, with a comfortable bed, a clean toilet, and a relaxing atmosphere so you can sleep well. Close to sugar or it. Even though we can't check in early, you can go anywhere for sightseeing or for a meal. I got a private room for a single person, which is good value for money if you go out alone.
