When I came, there were lots of customers on weekends, and the restaurant had a great atmosphere. The room was spacious and well-equipped. The furniture is from the 1900 s and includes vintage furniture with Swiss made decorations. The view from the room is breathtaking, with a mountain background. I hope you enjoy the stay.

We spent three nights at this hotel. We traveled by tooku shinkansen train to Furukawa and rented a vehicle. About a half hour to the motel. The motel and the neighborhood seem like a tiny slice of Switzerland. I adore Switzerland. The motel is more than 20 years old. The room was also old but still attractive and had a French-style design. The water pressure in the bathrooms seemed to be getting weaker. The hot spring bath was very wonderful and had a nice view but was becoming older. They might need to be refreshed soon. The hotel personnel is friendly and helpful. We ate at the hotel two out of three nights, one in French and the other in Japanese. Japanese was excellent, and French was adequate. We never felt bored while traveling around, having no result-free flyfishing in the Arab River!, and jumping in and out of Naruto in a hot spring bath. The hotel surely needs some maintenance soon, but I sincerely hope they will maintain the original architecture and decor in terms of quality and elegance. This is because I have recently been let down by some so-called classic hotels, which are renowned but have recently undergone modest renovations. I want to go back to this hotel and the region to further exploration.
