This hotel is very outdated, but it has a number of redeeming qualities that ultimately earned it a modest rating. First off, it has one of the most affordable chalkboard dinners in Japan, which can be arranged to your room. The food, on the other hand, was not terrible but not entirely delicious. The room is huge, but lacks opulence since it requires renovation. The boxspring is actually the hotel's star. I see that many people primarily go there just for the boxspring, and they leave before nightfall. We were the only guests in the entire hotel when I was there on a weekday. The atmosphere is a little scary at night in a remote island without any other people nearby. Service was good, and the staff was friendly and inviting. But come on, it's Japan! You get good hospitality as visitors everywhere! A randown building in need of a makeover. It makes me wonder about safety issues, especially when it is dangerously situated right next to an active volcano. Not worth risking to remain there for a single day. The most famous hotel chain Furusato Boxspring Hotel is just a stone's throw away. Its a completely abandoned hotel with a very creepy ambiance. We had a balcony, but what stands next to it is the abandoned building. We felt unsafe since we were the only visitor in the entire

We are happy that we found this historic onset resort in the Sakuraima region! The resort is very clean, and the staff is friendly. All the rooms in this resort enjoy sea view. They have two onsets: one indoor and one outdoor mixed onset. The outdoor mixing seaside onset is fascinating! The onset quality is the best I've ever had in Kagoshima.
