I completely recommend shizukatei for overnight visitors in the Hiraizumi region, provided you can survive without internet wifi access for a night. After a day of seeing noteworthy sights in nearby Hiraizumi, I thoroughly enjoyed my overnight stay. The roman is encircled by stunning farmland. I was greeted warmly. The Japanesestyle room was simple but nice. Screens let in fresh, clean air through the window and sliding door. There is a wellkept garden right across from the property, whose bounty the kitchen employees harvested and integrated into their cuisine. Both the indoor and outdoor pools were available at the genderseparate public bathroom. The water was abundant in minerals and offered at a pleasant temperature. In keeping with the classical aristocratic style, the bath was simple, modestly sized, and clean. Dinner was served in the apartment. It consisted of a wonderful assortment of fish, tempura, and excellent beef. It was much superior than what I received at a high priceless meal in the iconic kobe earlier this year. The homemade soba added a tasty and special ending to the dinner. Brunch was prepared in the dining room and included a typical selection of fish, pickles, miso soup, natto, rice, salad, and others. To anyone planning a trip to Hiraizumi, I highly suggest Shizukatei! My partner and I just spent two days at shizukatei, an onset roman and restaurant in the middle of a country dotted with rice paddies, about ten to fifteen minutes from the world heritage attractions of Hiraizumi. Their rural setting is a plus because the excellent staff is willing to drive you to town or Chusonji, the greatest world heritage site, and pick you up as well, giving you the impression of living in the lush farmland of the region while making it easy to see anything and everything there is to see. The onset is wonderful, with both indoor and outdoor areas, the rooms are spacious, spotless, and in excellent condition. The food, especially the dinners, is a course after course of delectable dishes, very carefully prepared and served in your room! Brunch is also served downstairs in the eatery, which is elaborate and offers a variety of dishes.

This hotel serves top-notch, organic vegetable dishes with fresh green vegetables and Soba noodles. There are also natural hot springs. The rooms are neat and large. You can also order a very delectable Masahawa steak. Until then, please be careful. Nevertheless, all of this is OK.
