The establishment is wellmanaged by a japanese and chinese couple, they are friendly and very helpful to their guests, whether they ask about nearby attractions or assist with any guest requests. The hostel boasts a traditional japanese interior design featuring sliding doors, complemented by aesthetically pleasing common areas, spotlessly clean bunk beds with curtain, power sockets and lights, security lockers, warm and spotless showers. Additionally, the hostel is managed by an amiable couple, offering convenient access to bicycle rentals. The location is advantageous, with ample space for exploring kyoto and the convenience of renting bikes or taking cabs from here. The hosts, tatasuro and kosori, are wonderful. They gave us tips on how to get around kyoto and provided excellent recommendations for nearby eateries. Its a really cute and charming place. Traditional japanese tatami mats and tea tables are set in the lobby. One of the hostel owners, cory, is incredibly helpful and wonderful. This place is a great place to meet and talk to travelers. The beds are just right, but for those over 180 cm, they might be small. There is also tainting room for the first towel, which is free and has dries very quickly. Given how chilly and dry the weather was, keep in mind that other travelers may wake up early to begin the trip, so the noises and sounds may awaken if you sleep light.4,4/524 Agt 2024

Overall, i am really happy with my stay and can recommend it to anyone who wants to travel peacefully. Its a really nice and small hostel. There are only 12 beds in total, one room has eight beds, the other has four. The beds are sturdy and provide perfect privacy with curtains and japanese paper. Every sleeping room is connected to incredibly comfortable lounge areas where you can relax. Downstairs is also en suite with utensils and outdoor seating. Decor is tasteful, very japonic, and professional. I had three really good nights because the airflow in the sleeping rooms is wellestablished and has two air conditioners, its just cool fresh air. Because it is not directly in town, you get fewer mature people who know how to live in otel. This was great because of the respectful and quiet manners. From the two closest bus stops, there were very easily and frequently direct buses to all major destinations. Two excellent supermarkets and convenience stores, as well as restaurants, are all within walking distance. A lovely little park and restocked local onsen are literally right around the corner. Reception is from 9 am to 9 pm, so you may check in early as long as the bed is available. Plenty of showers4,4/58 Agt 2024

This was the best stay at a hostel. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful in getting around and creating the perfect plan to visit kyoto. We went in without doing any research and after ten minutes of conversation we had savoring the city on trough uta bike tour and visiting nara, the neighboring town. On top of that, there are many benefits that we werent even aware of before arriving. Examples include free beer at the nearby bar, free ice cream / coffee & tea in the hostel, and discounted tickets to yokan nearby, which was incredibly enjoyable. It feels very comfortable and has id like to socialize with other travelers downstairs. I also liked the large security boxes. Great stay and will definitely be back.4,4/526 Jul 2024

This hotel is located about 15 minutes walk from the train station. The staff speaks perfect english and offers bikes to rent. They also provide laundry service for 300 yen. The employees were courteous and fluent in their english. The interior design in the first floor of the japanese style was quite distinctive. Both the bathroom and the toilet were spotless. I was able to sleep soundly. There, you can purchase a oneday bus ticket for the same price 600 yen. They gave me guiding directions to the shrines or temples i wanted to visit and provided me with tainted city bus maps. I had a wonderful time here. The location is excellent, in secluded surroundings not too far from nijyojo-Castle. Bus and metro stations are easily accessible. For 500 yen per day, you can also rent bike from the guesthouse. The staff is very friendly, she well explained what we can do around the hostel and in the city, her english is excellent. Inside, we have a little japanese style. The beds are clean and comfortable, the bedrooms and bathrooms too. You can visit the town on foot, but the hotel is tastier from kyoto station (you can go by bus or train).Fasilitas Populer
