I thought the maintenance of the hundred years old building was kept very clean, up-to-date, and neat. We enjoyed our stay, and especially the longevity onsen soup/water was comforting, smooth, and healing. They provided excellent care for us during the stay, the meals were scrumptious, and the drinks were great! I would revisit Takamiya Ryokan Miyamaso!

接客担当が男性のみと珍しい旅館でしたが、サービスは行き届いていました。暖房設備が少し劣化しているので、そろそろ買え時かなと思いました。

We stayed at the Takamiya Roman Miyamaso zoo in March, which was the final week of March, when the ski season was ending, making it uncrowded and serene. The staff was very helpful throughout our stay, especially the manager. The fact that an English-speaking employee was on staff when we stayed greatly assisted me in communicating because my Japanese is very weak. My wife had a ski accident, which required various arrangements, and the staff was really helpful and accommodating in this regard. Although the numerous stairs and winding hallways are not suitable for people with mobility issues, the historic structure is old but wellkept and has a pleasant atmosphere, as stated on the facility website. Although not particularly roomy, the initial expectation was met, so it wasnt a problem for us because there were few visitors while we were there. Our Japanesewestern room was big and comfortable, with a great view. Breakfast and dinner were both of very high standard. We had inquired in advance about providing vegetarian food for myself, which they claimed was unusual in Japan. The preparation and presentation of the vegetarian meals was excellent after a little confusion about the evening meal content was resolved, and the vegetarian meals were also excellent. Non-vegetarian meals were also beautifully prepared and exhibited. The food was undoubtedly the highlight of our stay.

I arrived at this place on an airplane last July and I was very impressed. The staff was friendly and the food was good. The roman was over 100 years old. This villa is also in a fantastic location with beautiful autumn colors. The price is indeed a little expensive but this hotel delivers my money's worth.

It is a long-established inn in the beginning of zoos. The historic structure is a true historic figure. The cuisine was also excellent. In particular, the regional beef was excellent. Skiing is popular in winter, and hiking and tracking are popular in spring and summer. You can also enjoy the hot springs all year round, of course.

An ancient traditional roman. To enter, we had to climb up long, steep stairs. Our baggage was carried all the way by the staff. Our accommodation was on the top floor, but there was no view. Spacious and clean, but a touch dim and antiquated. At the communal dining room, food met expectation, but not much privacy. Guest of both genders may utilize four public bathrooms. We only tried two of the two closest to our room. An interesting technique to illustrate onset on three levels in one of them. In essence, neither the previous Roman in Kaminoyama nor the nearby Roman could provide an additional night, so a stopover at the zoo onset was not enough. Overall not outstanding and quite costly. We made the most of their free drinks at the yamagata sake museum, which was run by the same group in the neighborhood, which could be used to remove its imperfections.
