Excellent japanesestyle hotel that is conveniently located near transportation. Its spotless, contemporary, and welcoming. We stayed for two nights. Has reliable wifi and Netflix. We appreciate the complimentary coffee and pastries in the morning, and if youre okay with that, it takes around ten stops to get to shinjuku.

We had an amazing time at the tokyo barn hotel, and we couldnt be happier. Rin and may were fantastic hosts who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Not only is the hotel stunning both exterior and interior, but the use of space in the room was incredible, the attention to detail was amazing (space boxes under the bed, additional toiletries, a mini fridge, and tea), the toilet was very modern with a heated seat! The shower was the best weve ever used, and we had a great time. Rin offered to do our laundry at a very reasonable price, and even folded everything for us and ready for us when we got home that evening. She also welcomed us every morning, had hot coffee and bananas in the lobby for guests to take, cleaned our rooms daily, and provided a very thorough and helpful guidebook in each room. She is the best! Finally, we had to contact our next host, but we needed to borrow a phone to make a local call. Rin offered her phone, which was so sweet, and when i couldnt understand, mai called them for us and confirmed our reservation. We had a great time and highly recommend the tokyo barn hotel!.

We chose the barn based on its high review and were not disappointed in any way. The room was immaculate, everything in perfect condition. The washroom had a spacious shower and a Panasonic bidet toilet. The bed was a full double. There was a small bar fridge below one of the two night stands. The room was compact by north american standards but very spacious by tokyo standards. The staff were very helpful and polite and spoke good english. The premises are tucked away a short distance down a narrow street (alley) but not at all difficult to find. It was quiet. Uguisudani station is a short walk away and it is a slightly longer walk to ueno station. The hotel provided a very helpful guidebook to the local area and there are many food options in the local area. We left feeling very comfortable and well taken care of.

If you are considering visiting tokyo for the first time, this may be the ideal location. Located quite quietly but still close to the bustling nightlife of ueno, this hotel has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are big enough to accommodate two large suitcases, everything looks new if built just yesterday, and the owners and hosts are charming people. Go there! You wont regret it.

We had the pleasure of staying at this charming small hotel for four nights. A short walk to the subway and yamanote line stations, and you can experience everything ueno has to offer. I would like to express my gratitude to the staff for their hospitality and kindness, and we would not hesitate to recommend it.

The location is not far from the jr station. The atmosphere is calm and comfortable. The owner is very nice and takes care of us. Please think about booking that place when you are traveling to tokyo. Barn to tokyo is a very nice place.

This week, my wife and i spent three nights here. This place is fantastic! Rin and may are incredibly kind, welcoming, and supportive. They provide each guest with a welcome booklet with a wealth of information about nearby eateries, attractions, tourist attractions, and other amenities. Every day, they even offer complimentary bananas! The place is brandnew and immaculate! The location is fantastic. Very close to the metro subway line and jr lines, both of which are within a 6minute walk. Additionally, it is very near a 7-11, which was quite convenient. I appreciate your wonderful stay and experience, rin and may!.

Iriya station is a great location to the metro and jr lines. The room was very warm and the bed is comfortable like a 5 star hotel. All the furniture is great. It creates a nice atmosphere. The staff is very nice. Highly recommended.

My husband and i stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The bed was very comfortable and we were very lucky to stay at the barn. The bathroom area was very clean. The location of the hotel is also great. It is on a small street in the middle of tokyo, taito. The staff was very friendly and helped us to book restaurants (a really great sushi restaurant) and arrange our further trip through japan.

A fantastic place to stay for a trip to to to tokyo. The location is very convenient, close to two metro stations that run quickly to central to tokyo with Ginza and akihabara. The rooms have nice interiors and are very comfortable, but the space is quite limited, as with many hotels in tokyo. The one thing that really stands out is the friendliness of the owner, rin, who is always happy to help with a smile on her lips. She always had fresh coffee ready at the reception in the morning and even helped me hail a taxi when i left by quickly walking to the street and hailing one. Thank you, rin, i would love to come back!.

The hotel is situated in a charming, peaceful alleyway, close to public transportation, ueno park, zoo, and museums. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, with helpful local recommendations. Coffee and snacks are provided in the lobby every morning. Would stay there again! Fantastic room!.

The bedroom is beautiful, albeit a bit small. The location is good, especially to look around the old city of tokyo in yanaka and ueno park. The host is friendly.
