It has been an awesome stay here. The staff and services were great. My family loved the breakfast and lounge. We ended up using taxi a lot which is extra expenses, but the location is still amazing since it’s so close to Kiyomizu-dera temple. Walking around in the morning and evening with less crowd was very pleasant. Actually, we forgot two wallets with cards and IDs in the safe. The hotel staff reached out via email and WhatsApp. It was such a relief that we could return to the hotel and pick up the wallets. Really appreciate the staff and their great help!

This may be the best hotel experience of my life. The facilities, atmosphere, location, cleanliness, and especially the kindness and attentiveness of the hotel staff were all exceptional. One of the greatest privileges of staying here was being able to take an early morning walk through Sannenzaka, Ninenzaka, and Kiyomizu-dera before the crowds arrived. The views of Kiyomizu-dera from the hotel created unforgettable memories and beautiful photos. The surrounding restaurants and shops were wonderful, and the hotel breakfast was absolutely perfect. We traveled with our child, and he loved every moment of our stay as well. Despite being in such a popular area, the hotel was remarkably quiet and peaceful. Seiryu Kyoto offers the perfect balance of relaxation and exploration. It is a place where you can enjoy both a comfortable retreat and an exciting Kyoto experience. We will never forget our stay and hope to return again someday.

최고의 장점은 위치. 조용한 호텔 입구를걸어나오자마자 키요미즈의 데라로 가는 메인 길이있다. 걸어서5-7분이면 갈수있음. 조용한 휴식은 친절하고 깨끗하고 음식도 맛있는 호텔에서 즐기고, 가벼운 산책겸 호텔 주변을 다니며 간식도 사먹고 기념품도 사면서 일본 역사속 마을에 온듯한 느낌을 즐길 수있다. 인파에 지치면 언제든 바로 호텔로 돌아와 휴식하면된다. 2박3일 중 식사는 조식2회,석식2회, 중식2회를모두 호텔 내에서 해결했다. 첫쨋날 석식은 호텔내 프렌치 식당에서. 둘쨋날 석식은 호텔내 스시바에서 먹었고 첫째날 중식은 루프탑 바에서, 둘쨋날 중식은인룸다이닝으로 시켜 먹었는데 모든 음식이 맛있었다. 호텔방은 현장에서 301스위트로 변경해서 있었는데 넓고 편안하고, 특히나 호칸지가 한 눈에 보이는 뷰와 석양이 매우 아름다운 방이었다. 여유가 된다면 301호를 적극 추천한다. 기본 킹 사이즈 베드가 있지만 방과 거실에 엑스트라베드를 추가해 6명까지 묶을 수 있다고 들었다. 한국인 직원이 안내와 설명을 친절히 잘해주고 직원들 모두 영어를 잘해서. 머무는 내내 편안하게 있을 수 있었다.

We had an amazing experience at Seiryu Kyoto truly a stay defined by excellence. The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way, from the impeccable service to the attention to detail that made everything feel special. One highlight was the visitor center, which was thoughtfully curated with snacks and engaging cultural shows that made our stay even more memorable. Everything felt seamless, welcoming, and beautifully representative of the Kyoto experience. We would absolutely return and highly recommend it.

The breakfast was good, but the bread selection wasn’t. The snacks in the guest lobby was always finished, because they kept giving small portions and very few ones too. The options for vegetarians was minimal. Room service took an hour just for dessert and then when we called them to take the trolley, they took around half an hour. When they cleaned our room they mixed all our products together including our used water bottles together, which is unhygienic and messy. We kept our products on different sides of the sink so we wouldn’t mix them up, but they decided to rearrange it they way they liked. They’re only supposed to clean! We initially had a room with a view of the pagoda, but it was covered with all the construction within the hotel that we didn’t even open our curtains.

The room was spotless, the staff was excellent from reservation to departure, the property was amazing and location was the best in the city in the Kiyomizu area. We were greeted at arrival and given an upgrade. Our bags had already been stored in our room. We had wonderful lounge experiences with the Maiko performance and the tea ceremony (which my kids loved) because it was "just enough" for them. I would recommend this hotel over and over again to anyone looking for a hotel in Kyoto.

The stand out about this hotel is the people. Everything with the property is excellent. But a hotel is about people. The people that care for you here are so lovely and warm that they feel more like family. You really look forward to seeing them every day and engaging them on the traditions and culture of Japan.

控えめに言って、最高でした。連休の中日だったので激混みかと思いきや、そんなこともなく、ラウンジでも、部屋の中でも、本当にゆったりと過ごすことができました。スタッフさんの子どもに対する対応も素晴らしく、子ども（4歳）も大変喜んでおり、帰りには『今日も泊まりたい』って、ダダこねてました。笑私個人としても再訪確定です。控えめに言って、最高でした。大事なことなので、2回言いました。笑本当にありがとうございました。

Hotel Seiryu Kyoto completely blew me away. The staff were incredibly attentive without ever feeling overbearing, and every little detail felt intentional, from the scent in the hallways to the way the room lighting changes with the time of day. It is amazing how quiet and calm it is, considering it is just steps from one of Kyoto’s busiest tourist streets. The perfect mix of luxury, hospitality, and serenity.

One of the best hotel nights ever. Lovely personnel, wonderful rooms, excellent surroundings. Top of the line I would say. When you stay here of course you won’t miss visiting their bar, K36. Wonderful view over Kyoto and the nearby temple.
