The room was tiny, but this was expected in Tokyo. A beautiful, tranquil hotel in an excellent location. The hotel staff couldn't do enough for us. They drew maps, recommended places to visit, helped us arrange courier services for sending gifts to friends, and even forwarded our luggage to our next hotel in Kyoto so that we didn't have to take the public transport system. The room was spotless and cleaned every day. Ample toiletries. Can't recommend this hotel or its location enough.

I had problems connecting my chromecast to to. I called the reception for help and a friendly young lady came to my room immediately. We tried for minutes without success and I thought I had to spend the 14 days I stay watching netflix on my phone.

This hotel is in a strategic location. It's near Shibuya in the center of Tokyo. The cleanliness of the room was very good. For the price was low.

The hotel is close to the tube station. Getting there by public transportation takes about 870 yen. Around Christmas and again in the first part of January, I stayed here for a few nights. The Tokyo Denentoshi Line from shibuya to sangenjaya to the hand airport costs about 870 yen. The range maya tube station from the airport takes you 3 minutes to walk to the tube. At chikada, switch at chikada to shibuya, then take the tokyo denentoshi line from shibuya to sangenjaya, go north exit a out of the tube station. You will find a lift to bring you to the street level if you exit the tube barriers in the tube station. When exiting the lift, turn left, walk past McDonald's, and you will find a large shoe shop on the corner of the street crossing. Turn left and this is the hotel road, walk through ofc, cross over the road, and the hotel is only a few minutes away. If you want Western fast food, there are ofc and McDonald's close by. Despite this, I would return because it is good value for money, is fantastic, the area, and local restaurants are excellent, and you can get anywhere in and around the city in a flash.

When I made the reservation at this hotel, I was surprised. I was surprised to see this hotel over a new underground line, but the first surprise was that the hotel was over the new underground line, which does not make a noise issue, however, it does mean if you take a taxi, it will not be close to the hotel's front door even though there is a cross street within 100 meters. The employees are quite accommodating and primarily bilingual. The price is really affordable, plus the breakfast includes the option of decaf coffee, which is rare at this price range. The western-style bagels, various toppings, minestrone soup, and a variety of coffee options are only served for breakfast. The Marriott ac hotel chain has an excellent decoration, and the hotel appears to have minimal furnishings.

We had lived in this area 20 years ago and knew it well, so that was a key motivation for booking this place. Shimokitazawa is sort of a hip nearby neighborhood with good transportation by 2 different train lines. It has a lot of small restaurants and bars and a surprising number of stores selling used american clothing for young hipsters. A few years ago, the oaky railroad line was moved underground, leaving room for a string of new buildings. The first surprise is that the hotel is over the new underground line, which isn't a noise problem, but it does mean if you take a taxi, it will not reach the hotel's front door, despite there being a cross street within 100 meters. Pluses include real king-size beds, coin-operated washers and dryers, and breakfast includes the option of decaf coffee, rare at this price point. Only breakfast is western style with bagels with various fillings, minestrone soup, and several coffee options. The hotel appears to be inspired by the Marriott ac hotel chain with minimal furnishings. Staff are very helpful and most bilingual. Goof-couid safety. Great wifi. No to.

On the same journey to Japan, we stayed here twice. The first time, we had a double bed and the second, we had a bunk bed. Both rooms were tiny, but the bunk bed rooms are nice because the beds are big and there is space underneath to put luggage. The location is unbeatable. It is close to all the shimokitazawa action and on a quiet pathway without cars. The coffee shop is inside the building and the staff was very friendly. The main drawback is that there is no bathtub only a shower.

It wasn't just a matter of size but rather, the hotel's affordability. It seemed underwhelming at first, but as the days wore on, we began to appreciate the little details. Low-key location with comfy beds, lots of free coffee downstairs if you get up early. However, you might get less coffee if you sleep in. I'm surprised that everyone is commenting on how cheap it is because it's still not cheap. Tokyo is huge and this hotel is not on a major train line, so research where to stay based on cost.

On the same trip to Japan, we stayed here on two separate occasions. We first had a double bed room, while the second one had a bunk bed. Although the bunk bed rooms are cozy because they are spacious, and there is space underneath to store luggage. The location is unmatched. Its on a quiet path without cars and near to all the activities in Shimokitazawa. There is a coffee shop in the building, and the staff is really nice. The lack of a bathtub only a shower is a drawback.
