Amazing stay, staff was kind, rooms were spacious and cold (great for summer). Breakfast was great. Location was a quick walk to markets or the subway. Onsen was amazing as well!

This hotel is excellent! The stuff was very friendly and they all speak very good English so don't worry! The hotel is super clean and tidy. The room is spacious and comfortable. The public spa and sauna are must-try. The location is great, near Gion area. It is also close to Gion festival.

Our room was clean and very nice. The photos on Expedia doesn't do it justice. Plenty of amenities that includes 3 different complimentary drinks that get refilled daily, senbei snacks, and the usual toiletries and sleep wear. The onsite Onsen is simple, but clean and was never crowded. Close to all the shops, temples, many local restaurants, bakeries, and coffee shops. Great place to stay to get away from the noisy touristy areas, but close enough to go everywhere by foot.

We loved this hotel. Rooms were really cool, fresh and of good size. Good breakfast with a mix of buffet and a’la carte. They could provide gluten free sandwich/ bread which was a big plus to us. Location was also great, central but in a quiet street.

Great location in a quiet neighborhood. Very friendly and attentive staff that did everything to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Room well appointed and very comfortable. We loved the onsen experience and the opportunity to enjoy all the spa facilities.

This hotel is in a perfect location to be close to busy areas, yet still out of the way enough that you get a neighbourhood feel. The modern-Japanese style feels traditional whilst still providing all necessary amenities. The spa facilities are excellent with a sauna, onsen and cool plunge pool.

The hotel was close to so many of the shrines and temples. We walked or took a train everywhere!! We ate at Soya, which was right around the corner and it was amazing!!! Our favorite Bar - Bar Trench is across the street!

Vi hadde to forskjellige rom, begge på mellom 37 og 45 m². Rommene er helt fantastiske: god plass, nydelig dusj og veldig god seng. Gymmet var veldig enkelt. Ikke det beste for noen som trener styrke regelmessig, men helt ok. Frokosten var det eneste negative. Det virker ikke som om restauranten driftes av hotellet. Utvalget var snevert hvis man er vant til skandinavisk standard på hotellfrokost. Det er også første gang noensinne jeg har fått beskjed om at jeg må betale ekstra hvis jeg vil ha mer enn to egg. Problemet var ikke prisen, men at man da måtte ta et eget oppgjør og betale separat for de ekstra eggene.
