Excellent stay at Hilton Nairobi. Due to my home flight being canceled, I booked a one-night stay here with little notice. The hotel arranged for the airport taxi, which took a lot out of it. Excellent service from all the employees here. Very aware of our situation, and in recognition of my hilton honors diamond membership, we gave a late checkout, taking the stress out of having a cancelled flight and rescheduled one not until nearly midnight the next day. Breakfast was really good and of very high quality with a variety of hot and cold choices. The room was spacious and clean with both baths and showers. My diamond status allowed access to the executive lounge, which offers hot cold soft drinks throughout the day and hot snacks and alcoholic beverages for a period in the early evening. The hotel is in a prime position to explore the city. Also has an outside pool, which was nice, a gym, and a caferestaurant. Overall we enjoyed our stay and appreciate the very high level of service that the staff provided. The hotel has a five-star rating and is highly recommended.

The restaurant employees and waiters here were excellent. When I first came to hilton, I was impressed by how clean and cozy the rooms were. As a new guest at the travelers restaurant, I felt at ease and at home here. I appreciate the courteous service provided by the waiters and waitresses at the restaurant. My first-time visit to Hilton would be to ask whether I would love to visit again in Nairobi.

Much has been written about the outdated furnishings at this hotel. In my opinion, the issue is more about upkeep than age. The curtains, for instance, were very dusty and should have been washed ages ago, the same goes for the carpet. However, the hotel offers something nice that seems to be rare everywhere else excellent customer service. I arrived early and was immediately given a room, 1710. I was upgraded without asking, and the reception staff were professional, courteous, and informed. This professionalism extends to all hotel employees. Everyone was helpful and attentive and made my stay enjoyable. The only problem I encountered was that the gym seemed a little abandoned and there were no towel service, sauna, or showers accessible. This was a nice feature of this hotel.

The hotel was great and I really like it. Michael and Stephen at the front desk are great. Stephen was so professional and took care of everything for us. The breakfast buffet is tasty. The hotel and the executive lounge and rooms are very nice too.
