It was better than our expectations. The apartment exceeded our expectations – comfortable beds (quite firm) and good pillows. There was AC in two of the rooms and fans in all three. There was no frying pan, but we simply asked the staff for one and they arranged it right away. The staff were very friendly and helpful – both the pool attendant, the reception staff, and the guards at the gate. The pool was nice and well maintained. There was also a restaurant, and the food was very good. We highly recommend the Swahili curry chicken! Breakfast was available for 700 KES. It was an à la carte breakfast, and we could simply tell them what we wanted. The laundry service also worked very well. The hotel is located about 5–10 minutes walk from the beach. There is also a large supermarket nearby. It costs around 200–300 KES to get there by tuk tuk. We highly recommend Lotfa to anyone who wants to travel to Diani Beach on a budget trip 💜

My 11yr old daughter and i spent 9 days we did bed&Breakfast. The room was spacious and clean however the sheets didn't fit the king size bed so part of the mattress was exposed. It had a lovely large balcony, working A/c and fan however the main light in the room and the safe did not work and weren't fixed over the 9 days. Breakfast was great some days and not that good on other days the staple was fresh fruits, eggs, beef sausages (which i didn't enjoy at all) and potatoes. Pool area was kept clean and serviced. Wifi was awful almost non existent so make an alternative plan or stay elsewhere if you need it. The beach is close 450m entrance through Amigos. Nomad beach bar is close as well as bidi badu bar. Tuk tuks pass by often so transportation is readily available

I was the only guest in the hotel, which was apparently under some renovation. Terrible service with literally everything not functioning (water, electricity, safe, kitchen) and limited staff. Monkeys kept sneaking into my room (by actually opening the windows themselves) and messing my stuff despite complaining about the same to management. The hotel should not have been listed as available to guests!

The bottom floor of the hotell was abandonded. I think we were the only guests there. Cockroaches in the bedroom. No hot water. Dirty toilet. Stay away!

Une catastrophe! Je n'ai jamais vu une chambre en si mauvais état. Salle de bain crade. Les draps pas changés. J'ai du faire un scandale pour qu'on me change les draps. I am travelling form Canada on a solo trip. I booked this hotel non-refundable rate for 3 nights/4 days. Upon arrival, I was brought to my room to which extreme disappointment is the word. When first opening the door, a strange odor rushed to my nose. I immediately told the lady the room stinks to which her reply was "we can't air out the room because of the monkeys'. The kitchenette was outdated, dirty, and half empty containers of soap and used sponges were laying around. Walking further in the room was not any better. The room was dark, ill-lite, the sofa was in dire need of replacement and dirty. The table and chairs were Walt-mart type folding items and dirty. The television did not work and the technician simply walked into my room - no knocking nothing. The carpet was old, dirty, and smelled also really bad. I am positive animals had been in this room and did their business on the carpet. Lastly, the room looked nothing like the pictures. Upon complaining, they brought me to a second room for viewing. This room was not any better. First, I had to step over power lines to get inside the room. The room was located by the pool bar so very loud music, and dead cockroaches beside the bed. I complained AGAIN to the manager to which he said, "we did our best". The rooms are dirty and that tells me the kitchen is dirty as well. Lastly, this hotel states it follows COVID protocols to which were non-existent; no masks, no hand-sanitizer, and refuses to issue a reimbursement.
