Spoiler alert not worth a single coin, sleepless night due to heat and misleading information. My boyfriend and I reserved two nights at this lodge through application. We were especially sucked by the attractive photos and the beachfront claim. Turns out it is not beachfront at all. The place is at the end of a small street with no beach view, and you have to walk roughly 5 minutes to the shore. When I told the manager when we arrived, he looked surprised and said sorry for that, we were going to change this. The second surprise, the restroom and toilet were shared. It is written somewhere when you book, but you have to read very carefully to figure that out, and I am pretty sure this is intentional. You can check out the reviews on booking and you will find that many people complain about this. The owner needs to make it clear on application. About our stay, we were permitted to check in early at least am, which is nice. Also, the managers were really friendly, and this has to be highlighted because it is the only really positive thing I have to say. The room was a complete disaster, only one socket from the bed, an old, useless fan far from the bed, a metal roof, a tiny window open on the common area, and everyone is basically watching inside your room, so you should keep the curtains closed. The result is warm as hell at night

With great urgency, we arrived in Kenya during the Covin pandemic. Considering that people from the west have stopped believing this place will be like home, I have traveled and worked as a volunteer in the country since 200. This place is not. Better than the uk, if you take it for what it is, you'll adore every second. The most stunning shoreline and sea are only five minutes away from this lodge. You can go to as many bars and restaurants as you can imagine for a price you can only dream of home. I can only advise those who have had a negative review. Get off your horse and begin living.
