The iconic Syuen Hotel of Ipoh is now AC Hotel. Managed by Marriott and owned by YTL, the hotel has been tastefully refurbished and the hotel retains it charms and plus points of having the hotel located so near the heart of Ipoh.

A special thank you to Jannah at the reception for her warm welcome, professionalism, and attentiveness. She was courteous, efficient, and always ready to assist with a genuine smile, which made the check-in and overall experience truly pleasant. Also a big thank you to Jagjeet for placing the slice of birthday cake in our room so that i may surprise my best friend on her birthday! I would also like to commend the housekeeping team for the birthday decorations as well as maintaining the room in impeccable condition. The cleanliness, attention to detail, and consistency throughout my stay did not go unnoticed and greatly enhanced my comfort. Really helpful staff, great amenities. The shower and bed were 10/10. The hotel is really nicely designed. Pool was warm. Food and drinks were really nice.

The room was so comfy and spacious, love the ambience of the hotel, the design, wonderful and excellent staff, great facilities and aminities provided. Except for breakfast, the choices of foods were so limited, not at par with Marriott hotels.
