The hangout area and outdoor pool area are stunning. After, the location is excellent and offers great value. Last but not least, this is the best place weve stayed in langkawi!.

A truly stunning location for lodging. A short distance from the main tourist area, this peaceful location is tranquil. The communal area is a wonderful spot to unwind in the morning, afternoon, or evening, and the pool is salty and feels fresh. There is an honor system fridge with drinks, yogurts, etc., which is useful from time to time.

The price of this hotel is unbeatable, despite the fact that it may appear like a glorified hostel to some. The rooms are spacious and each have private bathrooms, but if you choose, there is savoring utmost comfort in the communal kitchen next to the pool. Speaking of the swimming pool, it was incredibly refreshing to unwind in after countless days of exploring the island. There are many restaurants within walking distance, and even more in pantai cenang, which is only ten to twenty to thirty minutes walk or scooter, while you still feel like youre in country.

This hotel is in a lovely setting. The owners are really helpful and live on savoring plots adjacent, so they are always available. My grandson, who is 7 years old, spent hours with the owners two boys of similar age in the immaculate pool, which was also used to teach beginners to dive i watched all from the comfort of teetering by the pool. Wherever possible, natural materials have been used in building the structures, as the name suggests, bamboo, and lots of lovely reclaimed wood. With spacious bedrooms, luxurious bathrooms, high ceilings, or fans, the bedrooms are roomy. Fresh air is allowed in through the tiny gap between the ceiling and walls, covered by netting. Yes, there are windows as well. Since it was very hot in October, we paid hardly any money to turn on the air conditioning. Excellent find. Highly recommended, if you want to stay here again.

Tengah beach is a 15minute walk away from this place. The staff is excellent and accommodating, and the saltwater pool is fantastic. All guests have access to an honor system for food, wine, beer, or beer. A little out of the way, but the hotel is close to the beach. My personal opinion is that i wouldnt stay during the school holidays.

The atmosphere is very comfortable and the surroundings are clean. The hosts are also amazing. Please spare some time by the pool and listen to nature. Their salt water pool is great.

Probably the best place we have stayed during our sixmonth trip to south eastasia. This location has so many wonderful things to offer. The rooms are spacious and airy, the salt water pool and pool area are absolutely gorgeous, there are lots of games to play, nero the dog keeps the place in shape, you can make your own food with the kitchen outside, and the setting is absolutely stunning as it backs onto the forest. We saw a lot of bats, different birds, even monkeys in the trees. Its truly amazing. If you want to get to the center, it would probably be best to take grabbing if it is 5/10 minutes walk from cenang beach, but this is usually only 5 rm. Also, ask unless they wont do it automatically i need to do this. I really prefer this because it wastes so much time washing towels and bedding every day! Strongly recommended.

The rooms are a little dark and dingy, but cleanliness could be improved in the rooms. The pool and outdoor space is great, however it would be nice to have some uncovered sun loungers for us who like to sun bathe. It can be noisy at times, especially if you get rooms that face the car park.

The shower water pressure is the only thing that i hope they can improve on. Its a little too slow. Theres nothing special about this place. The location is quiet and nice, the staff provides good service, and the swimming pool is comfortable at incredibly reasonable prices.

We adore bamboo cottages. I cherished the common area and the pool. The hosts are excellent, and kids are extremely safe there!.

The room was strange for us, the walls arent floor to ceiling instead there is a mesh net for the last meter so you can hear everything. We heard lots of different animals at night which was cool, but also cars (we were close to the parking lot) and other guests snoring. It took some getting used to. Very nice staff, great service and i really enjoyed the trust system at the counter and dining area. The pool was nice but rugged in places that actually caused our kids some discomfort and minor injuries, however, it wasnt the hotel fault for that. Overall if you want to stay here, its ok to disconnect for ages. Close to many good places to eat and shop.

Bamboo cottage is a lovely, spotless, and rustic location where we do appreciate the seclusion that is uncommon in other places and their saltwater pool. The beach is accessible on foot. For an amazing experience, the managers are genuinely kind and offer recommendations for the best places to visit in the area of langkawi!.

Lets start with the property itself, it is a little hidden but just off the main road, so its always nice and quiet and still easy to get to places. The amazing salt water pool is huge and i will be back at the end of the day exploring the island. Talking about exploring, dont worry about booking o scooter rental as you can do this through the hotel and yes you might pay tad more (we paid 40 ringgit per day) but it gets delivered and picked up at your hotel, and the scooters are in great condition. Very spacious room with all the bamboo the design is really cool. Hot water is available in the shower if you want or need it. Free coffee and tea, filtered water, plus some cooking equipment unless you dont want to eat out. Celia, the host/manager of bamboo cottage, is the best host you could ever imagine. She organized the motorbike for us, gave us countless tips on what to do on the islands and where to dine and drink, which made our stay 1000 times more enjoyable. This was the best hotel we have stayed at in langkawi so far! We were lucky enough to be trapped there during the covid19 pandemic when the country shut down. The owners and their children are warm, kind, and nice people. Location is perfect and very quiet away from traffic. You can literally walk to pantai tengah across the street or take a quick motorcycle or cheap grab 5 myr into town for pandais mall, malls, international restaurants, etc. There is no chlorine in the pool, just salt water. Large and suitable for swimming. Beautiful grounds with gazebos. Very spacious and comfortable rooms. Internet is the fastest and most reliable weve found in Langkawan so much. I work online and use psi hotspots for video calls, but their internet never fails me, not even in my room. We found that bamboo tends to attract couples and families, everyone we met in our two months there was just lovely. Also recommended by the owners are some great local food delivery services that we used almost every day, very convenient. They also allowed packages to ship there with the owners approval, which was very helpful. Their dog, nero, is very friendly and pleasant. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again. The building and surroundings are exquisitely designed, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The personnel maintains a high level of cleanliness and order throughout the facility. Excellent rooms and incredibly impressive pools.

We stayed here for three nights and had a great time. Celia went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. One morning they cleaned the pool with four people and showed us how they wanted everything to be very clean. The beach and some nice restaurants were within walking distance and the place is in secluded surroundings. We definitely recommend this place. Our mattress was quite uncomfortable which is why we gave our room only 4 stars.

My 2 daughters adored this wooden house with a private pool. Its quite quiet the entire day because it doesnt face the sea. Tengah beach is only ten minutes away by car or 5 minutes on foot from there. There are many restaurants and i have gotten referred to eta house nearby.
