The place is beautiful! I wasnt expecting it to be this wonderful. Jay welcomed me at the door and was incredibly friendly and welcoming! She was generally just a really nice person to talk to, and she gave me countless recommendations. The threebedroom apartment in which i am staying is my own, each room has its own locking door. Although the other two rooms share en suite bathrooms, mys is pristine and wellkept. For those three rooms, the lounge, kitchen, or balcony are shared spaces. Really lovely setup. I enjoyed sitting on equating the view of the even from the window while sitting down on the couch and enjoying the scenery.5,0/58 Apr 2024

A very quiet place with friendly and caring hosts. And by the way, ask about the best tour guide around! Your host can help you reach him. I really enjoyed my stay, so much that i convinced another trek companion to move to a room there too. Youll love the place on the hill, in secluded gardens with cosy kitchens and lobbys, to spend your evenings conversing with others.4,8/526 Jul 2024

The apartment is clean and the staff is polite and helpful. There is coffee and tea available 24 hours a day, but you have to prepare yourself. Every apartment has tv with shady views so you can relax with your cup of coffee. Quiet place to stay.4,8/526 Mei 2024

We had a great time at this place, the bed was comfortable, and the apartment was spotless and had an attractive garden in front. We were fortunate to have wonderful flatmates and shared the space with other visitors. Raju, our amazing guide, booked us on the mossy forest tour. I highly recommend it. Although we only stayed for three nights, we could have easily remained longer. Bella, thank you for your assistance and hospitality. Unfortunately, i cannot rate this hotel five stars because the wifi was frequently terrible and making it difficult to connect and do anything.4,8/519 Apr 2024

The apartment was clean and nice. And then, the location is on top of a hill with shady view. After that, after our long journey from kl, jay picked us up at night. Subsequently, we were very grateful because it was located on the top floor of an hill and had utmost privacy.4,8/510 Apr 2024

The room was clean and nice, and the view from the tea plantation was very beautiful. The staff were also friendly. We went on a tour of the mossy forest and boh tea factory. It was well worth the price. Particularly the lush vegetation is very impressive. Our guide was knowledgeable about the rainforest and explained why it is so important to keep this ecosystem in its current state. There is likewise tastier view at the coffee plantations. Although the factory tour is brief, there is an outlet and utensils cafeteria with lots of pastries and cakes.4,8/518 Jan 2024

The location is good, and the host is nice. But the house is very cold. No slippers, shampoo and shower gel are provided. There is no heater, so it is recommended to bring your own socks in case you wont freeze there, especially at night.4,8/55 Jan 2024

Jay hosted us and was very helpful in giving tips and suggestions, helping us book our full day tour and even sending us to the bus station when we left. The rooms werent very soundproof and the wifi wasnt stable but otherwise, no regret booking 4 nights. In february 2022, my wife and i spent a wonderful three days at this cozy location. The location is spotless, has all the conveniences, is peaceful and cozy, and has tastefully decorated interiors. Its surrounded by stunning scenery, with an incredible view from the balcony! As for food, it takes less than 30 minutes to walk down jalan gereja to barracks cafe, the nearby commercial area, or the main street of tanahrata. I will without denying that ive recommended Geralds Place to all my family and friends.4,8/519 Agt 2023

The accommodation is excellent. Despite the fact that you may share it with others, it has the feel of your own apartment. It offers a wonderful lounge area, ample amenities, wifi, and secluded, peaceful surroundings. The house is spacious and has beautiful views, and it is close to tanahrata town. We visited during the offseason weekdays, so it was also quiet and private. It is equipped with amenities such as an iron, toaster, coffee, tea, etc. The bedroom is roomy, spotless, cozy. Although towels are provided, there are no toiletries. There is ample parking. However, the wifi is slow. Astro is available, but its only available for free channels. Due to its location, views unduly affordable pricing, i would return.4,6/528 Jul 2024

The room was clean and the shared apartment area was spacious. The walk up from the bus station was a bit uphill, but not too bad. Breakfast was simple and served in the morning. Heard good things about the tours they put on, however we didnt have enough time. I stayed here for two nights and wished i could have remained longer! The apartments are clean and fully equipped with everything you could need, including kitchen equipment, a washing machine, and plenty of space to just relax and take in the views of the mountains, making the stay excellent value for money. On my departure day, the host, jay, was very nice and always available to assist with cafe and restaurant recommendations, day tours, or even boarding escalators to the bus station. The main shops and restaurants in tanahrata are ten minutes walk away, but its worth the walk to work up an appetite for the delicious food the area has to offer!
