This place is excellent, and better than we had stayed there a year ago. Our family bedroom suite was well-equipped with a variety of appliances and dvd sets. The entertainment in this resort was really enjoyable for our children.

I was a happy customer and really enjoyed the place. I stayed in the family suite after checking in and staying for two nights. The hotel's location between the naval market and Kundasang town made it less crowded and a peaceful spot to stay. Staff were kind, and the resort chef can prepare a nice dish if required. There is no noise coming from the adjacent house, however, the walls and floors are made of hardwood, which is inadequate to remove noise and the squealing sound of people walking. Even though house regulations state that there will be no noise after 10 a.m., some visitors still chathumously until 4 a.m., which was a negative. Great hot shower. It will be freezing cold at night, keep extra warm sweaters in case it's freezing.

To get back out once more, its a bit of a detour from the main road into the parking lot and a good test of your driving abilities. We checked in at rp and had reserved a double bed but were given a room with two single beds. When asked if we wanted a room with a double bed, they were very nice, but we turned it down because we realized the view of the valley below from the first option was magnificent. Rooms were basic but appeared to have everything we required. After a long day of travel, all we wanted was a beer, food, and shower. The restaurant was open when we arrived, and we enjoyed a beer. The water wasnt working and remained off until about 10 october due to a pump issue. After not being able to take a shower, the bar was closed when we returned. One of the staff was unwell and there was no one to run it. Overall, it is not the greatest and we cant give a fair review. We went on a drive and discovered a restaurant farther up the road, with positives. Nice beds, great views, served beer in a restaurant close to the national park. He away showers were great when not working, but the piped music was a little monotonous. I cant comment on the cuisine, but the menu appeared straightforward.

The resort is new and is close to Kinabalu park. We rented a large bedroom house with a view of the valley and well equipped with a kitchenette, dvd player, large table and video game player. The shower has low water pressure but extremely hot water. The surroundings are cool and fascinating. The cafe offers good food and few indoor games for the guests. The staff is very kind and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay at this resort. Think about returning to this resort on our next trip to Kutasang.
