Overall 5 stars for value. This is a very spartan hotel, but we felt safe staying here and for the price I can't complain. Air conditioning worked great. Two elevators worked great. They made up the room every day. There were no hand towels or wash cloths, only bath towels. There was no hand soap, only a dispenser of soap in the shower. The sink drain made a strange glugging noise. There was only one small ceiling light for the whole room. If a few more amenities were provided for the rooms, it could even be a 4 star hotel. We were definitely satisfied, and we sure enjoyed the views of the ocean and city!

Hotel yang bagus dan nyaman untuk satu malam. Sarapannya hanya perlu banyak pilihan. Lokasinya strategis di tengah bandar dan dikelilingi tempat menarik. Parking kereta api aman di bawah harapan hotel sendiri.

Usia hotelnya sepertinya sudah tua dan tercium bau apek. Tapi, lokasinya strategis dan harganya terjangkau. Kamarnya cukup besar dan nyaman. Harapannya juga variatif.

Value for money, consider 3 star hotel for me... consider nice location for me too as I'm driving, but a bit hassle if walking to town center for local hawker food, nice sea view from hotel's room and you can see sunrise... delicious breakfast at hotel's cafe... air-cond is cold... definitely will visit again and highly recommended... hope this hotel will operate as far as possible to become one of the long-time historical hotel...

I checked into this hotel on a Sunday evening. For those who complained that this hotel is not 5 star, try staying at homestay. Choose this hotel because they have their own parking lot. I dont want to worry about looking for a parking lot when we are in a business or touristy area where parking is limited. Its location is close to chew pier, blue mansion, great tokyo b&b, and many 5 star local restaurants. Penang street art, mustsee beach street fire and rescue station. Save time. Also, i saw the freeride rapid bus. So this area is along the bus route. Cat line. We stay on the 5th floor. The live karaoke was obvious at night. Maybe not loud as we are on the top floor. Standard queen room, neat and clean although it looks basic. 24 m 3 room size, it is spacious to put 4 large bag packs and still room moving around. Comfortable bed for good sleep. Air ventilation is good. The bathroom has a heater. The water dispenser is outside. The room has cupboard and clothes hangers, hair dryer, 2 cups, a thermal jug to keep hot water, shower gel, and 2 bath towels. No coffee or tea maker. If i remember more. Will choose this hotel again when we come to penang. Maybe include a rapid bus adventure. Overall satisfactory and worth the price.

Kunjungan singkat, lokasi bagus tetapi masih ada ruang untuk perbaikan dalam banyak aspek. Layanan di konter sangat baik dan cepat tanggap. Tempat parkir terbatas, jadi harap berhati-hati saat mengatur parkir. Saya akan kembali nanti.

The room is comfortable, clean, and comfortable. The location is in the city center which is next to padang makota. The staff is very friendly and tolerates us. The aunt and uncle are cute.

Kamar luas dengan kamar mandi tambahan yang luas (terbaik). Pemandangannya bagus dengan pemandangan laut. Hotel yang paling direkomendasikan di Penang ini. Parkir mudah dan aman dengan guard (di lantai bawah hotel). Cleaner cukup ramah. Hanya saja, layanan di resepsionis perlu diperbaiki. Teruslah tersenyum. Lihatlah orang-orang yang seperti ini meminta untuk memberi sumbangan di hotel ini. Semoga ada perubahan nanti.
