It was great! The toilet was clean enough to use and simple utilities such as soap and towels were provided. Air cond was in great condition as well! TV was outdated with only 1 grainy channel but that's ok, we used the guesthouse fast wifi instead. No parking was provided so opt to park elsewhere and used grab to the guesthouse.

Allowed to leave luggage before going for Mt. Kinabula climb and room already ready (with luggage inside) on return. No drinking water and amenities limited in room. Cable TV indicated in Hotets.com is limited to local free channels only - very poor signal. Hotel on 3rd floor and heavy luggage will be a problem. Room is spacious. Toilet and cleanliness acceptable. WiFi is very weak but usable from room is they are around reception. For price paid, its value for money. Great view for rooms facing the main street.

Easy walk to Centrepoint (for airport bus), Jetty (Island hopping, diving) and Gaya Street (Chinatown). Able to leave luggage behind when go for climbing Mt. Kinabalu. Room is spacious and toilet OK. Very basic amenities but value for money. Note that there is no free drinking water refill or coffee kettle in room/hotel. But drinking water is cheapest in shop directly downstair (RM 1 for 1.5 L). Hotel is on 3rd floor and maybe a problem with heavy luggage. For good WiFi (slow), better to stay in rooms around reception. Last room in B block cannot receive WiFi.

For the price its okay. Lots of loose and broken bits and pieces, and could really do with a paint. Its fine otherwise. View is not bad if you get a sunset!
