As several reviews have noted, the location is simple yet clean and suitable for a night before the ferry and within walking distance. In case you need something before going to the island, it is reasonably priced and next to convenience stores, restaurants try the 71, and laundry stores. Simply put, you won't be disappointed, so don't expect much. There aren't many options in the mess.

We stayed one night and arrived on the bus late. There was no window in the room but the air conditioner worked and the shower was hot. The bed was clean and comfortable. No breakfast is served and nearby cafes serve local food. You can buy bread etc at the seveneleven opposite. Stock up on sugar free drinks etc before going to tioman as they are hard to come by. The hotel is one floor up but in a good location for a bus station or ferry. cheap and perfectly adequate for one night.

I strongly recommend Mara Inn for those looking for an affordable choice to stay close to this region. The accommodations are quite modest and spotless. I like the location since it is near the jetty and numerous food markets. There is also a convenience store directly across from the lodging. We arrived late at night, and the receptionist was able to check us in very quickly and without fuss. We were here on a quick vacation to go island hopping off the coast of messing.

This place has 711 and is located just across from pier. We spent a night here before taking the ferry to Tioman. The distance between the Pier and the Bus Station is very nice. This place has many stores and restaurants. My room had no windows, however it was clean.
