I was really bored out of my wits the other day and snagged a flick on tv to intrigue me. And then I came across the Chennai Express. A shah rush khan film with Prakash Padukone, a well-known director. How horrible can the movie be, right? That's what this resort is all about. The well-managed and modern Pacific Regency group with whom I frequent hotels in kgs with great joy. We frequently complain that port dickens hotels are mostly stars and not well managed except for a few resorts. Well, this resort is brand-new, a reboot of the historic Ming Court Hotel. However, the services and hotel layout are so star-worthy that it makes you wonder whether the operator is following the required mundane standards of a hotel here. Poorly trained front office, wasted space right up to the beach front for parking!, a wet floor in the lobby never mopped, no beach bar to mention, etc. But maybe because the room is new. But that's about it. So now we know why room rates are comparable to stars. I was really hoping Pacific Regency would make a difference here in ad. But I guess they just go with the flow. Is cleanliness just unacceptable, and the fan and wall have dust that you can easily see. Curtain stains under the mattress. The toilet door latch is broken. I cant understand why the toilet doors were made 5 inches above ground. The drain hole cover trap is not clean, causing a blockage to the shower drains and flooding the shower area. Emergency exits are not lit at night. Emergency evacuation plan, directions to the assembly area? None. Certification is questionable. Wet floor in the lobby during rain. Insufficient staff to dry the floor 6. There are no towels in the pool area. After swimming, the lobby floor becomes wet and slick. The hotel has no décor, the walls are very dull. In the pool area, guards are occupied playing with phones at night, rather than doing surveillance. The pool is spacious, but the maintenance is poor. The beach is lovely but you can see trash by the beach. Water supply disruption during your stay due to pump maintenance. Should not occur as the hotel will have redundant services to prevent disruption from unplanned downtime. Priced, overpriced, and lower quality room and services. There are only two lifts that are small to cover the entire hotel guests. People must squeeze in the lift during peak hours. There is a ton of improvement required a 1 over 5 star rating.

Overall, everything was fine, but it was a bit boring because there was no cafe or lounge. I suggest booking the partial sea view room to avoid getting a room facing an old, outdated, or huge structure. The room is roomy, with both ceiling fans and an abscond. Very close to the beach. The pool was large and not crowded. Checking in and out was smooth. There is a sizable parking area. In the room, there are no slippers, prayer mats, or iron, and the room is incredibly basic. Booked with a partial sea view room, and our room's view was essentially a pool and big bushes. The beach isn't very clean, so drive to Pants Sanjana for cleaner water.

The cost of a family suite is 1800 nights only and a two single bed room breakfast was not included as a bonus. If you want to eat rm 25 pax for breakfast, this is not included in the room rate. Family suites only have one bathroom and one is a toilet, without a shower. For a suite that can fit 5 people, one bathroom is quite a disappointment. The pool is nice, the beach is nice, and the mattress and pillow are comfortable. Yet based on cost, overpriced and low quality room and service. There are only 2 elevators, which are small enough to accommodate all hotel visitors. People must squeeze the elevator during peak hours. This is probably not a 4- or 5-star hotel, so perhaps reconsider your stay here.

Everything ok ,comfortable , huge swimming pool. Affordable breakfast price rate for walk in guest . I like!💘.. But please upgrade kids playground area.. Hampir roboh and tak ceria. Overall ok alhamdulillah

Landskap ye tolong dibikin cantik lg dekat playground.. Swimming pool best, cadar kasih bersih dan harum yeee dan tiap bilik baik nye sebelum tamu dtg kena label kan kat pintu bahawa sdh di sanitizer... Harap bilik di sanitize, aircon bau hapak.. Recepsionist nama Mimi peramah, sopan, senyum ikhlas hati... Bawah katil sy tengok berhabuk. Overall bagus.. View cantik. Tq. Perlu ditingkatkan lagi staff room boy nye... Kena wangi juga yee 😊

Makanan Restonnye tak sedap, tak byk pilihan, view bilik cantik, tp cadar masa check in agak kotor berhabuk... Terus minta ganti. Kolong katil berdebu.. Kena vacum. Aircon krg wangi..bau hapak. Pantai ok view tp krg bersih pasirnya.. Ada sewa boat etc. Yg best swimpool.. Besar. Recepsionis nama Mimi peramah dan sopan... Overall ok nginap kat sini. . Thank u pacific Harap2 taman dibikin cantik lagi sebelah playground tu... 😊 Pesekitaran hotel banyak resto.. Sedap2.

To begin with i wrote a request on your apps but wasn't pick up by the hotel. Checked in the room requested for extra water said ok never came. Worse is the bed had hair and dirt from previous guest stuck at d end of bedsheets wonder if they ever did change d sheets as I do not hv long hair was disgusting . Air cond sound was so loud could not sleep . For a hotel at that price didn't even hv a proper pool lounge jus a table selling sweet water n snacks poorly run. Beach had the best sand but platform to Beach totally not properly done for guest too high for elderly to get down. For price paid it's not worth the money . As when it was ming court days I spend my childhood now it's worse than a proper 3star hotel.

This place was filthy. The buffet bar had too many flies and fly traps all around the bar. There were more flies than food. No where to go out for dinner. The rooms where decent, however some part of the hotel looked like an abandon State Hospital, very creepy. We had booked two nights but after seen the place we decided to leave, requested a refund but never was granted. Will never be back to this place!

We enter the family suite of 5-7 occupancy allowed with only two bath towels and two hand towels and toiletries were not complete. No hand soap, no conditioner, no lotion. When requested, the left the toiletries in a garbage bag in the room for us to discover ourselves upon our return to the room. There were no pool towels on the first day. No teaspoons for our coffee. WC seat had urine stain. Very disappointing stay.
