Das Hotel ist eine klare Empfehlung! Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und äußerst freundlich. Die Anlage verfügt über zwei gepflegte/ saubere Pools (davon einer nur für Erwachsene) sowie einen direkten Strandzugang mit Sonnenliegen. Die Anlage ist nicht überlaufen und sehr sauber gehalten. Die Zimmer waren ausgezeichnet sauber! Bei dem Frühstück war für jedermann etwas dabei, wir konnten sehr gut frühstücken. Es gab auch die Möglichkeit diverse zu Mittag oder zu Abend zu essen.

We had to book the Park Royal as a last minute booking the night we got to Langkawi due to a bad experience at another resort. I was able to book and get to the resort within an hour, and myself and my husband were amazed how beautiful the place was! The room itself was spacious, with a balcony with a handy clothes drying rail built in, the room had all amenities needed - an iron and board, scales, hair dryer etc. everything was clean and tidy. . The shower was great, with the rainfall top and we liked that the shower and toilet were separated. The breakfast was great, a huge selection of fresh and delicious food. We thoroughly enjoyed this! Overall had a great experience here and would highly recommend.

Beautiful view of the beach and ocean from our room. The room was spotless and staff, particularly Tomshim, were all very accommodating. Good selection of food for breakfast.

We were traveling with children, and they loved the hotel pool, played on the playground equipment, went to the indoor play area almost every day, and enjoyed the game room. You could easily spend two days just at the hotel. The hotel's restaurant is also delicious, and the breakfast selection is extensive. I would definitely stay here again the next time I go to Langkawi. However, one problem with traveling with children was that there was singing at the poolside bar until around 10 or 11 pm, and the loud music reached our room because there was no soundproofing, which bothered our children and made it difficult for them to sleep. Soundproofing would be desirable for a family room intended for children.

Everything was excellent but something worth considering is the practice of guests who put towels and a book on the sun beds before breakfast to hold a space by the pool or by the seaside. We watched people put their towel down and sunscreen then go off sight seeing for three hours and returning to their beds. It is selfish and unfair when there is limited umbrella space with sunbeds. The hotel needs to somehow monitor and ban this selfish behaviour.

Mulai tanggal 1 Januari 2025, Dewan Kota Langkawi akan menerapkan Pajak Kebudayaan sebesar MYR 1-10 per kamar per malam. Pajak ini berlaku untuk hotel bintang 0-5 dan wajib dibayarkan saat check-in. Selama acara-acara penting seperti Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace (LIMA) Exhibition, Le Tour de Langkawi, Ironman Langkawi, dan Oceanman Langkawi, Pajak Kebudayaan akan naik menjadi MYR 2-20 per kamar per malam.

Mulai 1 September 2017, sesuai dengan kebijakan dari Pemerintah Negara Malaysia, tamu yang bukan warga negara Malaysia atau penduduk permanen/jangka panjang Malaysia akan dikenakan pajak wisata sebesar RM 10 per kamar per malam. Perlu diketahui bahwa perubahan struktur pajak ini berakibat pada perubahan pajak yang dikenakan kepada Anda dan tambahan ini dapat dibayarkan langsung pada saat check-in.
