Effective September 1st, 2017, as per Government of Malaysia requirements, hotel guests who are not Malaysian citizens or long-term/permanent residents of Malaysia will be levied a tourism tax of RM 10.00 per room per night stay. Please note these changes in tax structure will result in revised taxes being charged and will be payable additionally during check in.
For a smooth check-in process, please note a refundable Security Deposit of RM 200.00 per room is required upon arrival. This will be returned upon check-out provided the room is in good order. If you are driving, parking is available but operates on a first-come, first-served basis, meaning spaces are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Penang Tax : Effective from 1st July, 2022, the City Council of Penang will impose a Local Council Tax of MYR 2 per room per night for 4 and 5-star hotels, and MYR 2 per room per night for 0 to 3-star hotels. The star rating will be in accordance to the rating from Local Council and should the rating differ from the website, the local council rating will apply. This fee is payable directly to the hotel upon check-in and is not included in the room rate and taxes stated herein.
