Dhawa Ihuru, part of the Banyan Group, is an island retreat set on North Malé Atoll, boasting azure waters, a spectacular powder-white beach, and breathtaking sunset panoramas. Surrounded by a coral reef on Ihuru Island, the resort is a 20-minute speedboat ride from Velana International Airport (MLE).

The resort features 45 air-conditioned beachfront villas, each with a private timber patio, Maldivian swings, and views of the ocean. Villas are equipped with refrigerators, minibars, complimentary wireless internet access, cable programming, and private bathrooms with rainfall showerheads and complimentary toiletries. Some villas also offer an open-air jet pool. Each villa can accommodate up to 4 persons (2 adults + 2 children or 3 adults + 1 child), making it suitable for families.

Couples celebrating their honeymoon can enjoy romantic benefits for a minimum stay of 3 nights, including in-villa amenities (a bottle of house wine & fruit platter), a celebration cake for two, and romantic bed turn-down. Stays of 5 nights or more also include in-villa breakfast once during the stay. Honeymoon stays must fall within six months of the wedding date, with a marriage certificate presented upon reservation.

Guests of Dhawa Ihuru Maldives have access to Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru Maldives, just a 5-minute speedboat ride away. They can enjoy facilities such as the bar and Banyan Tree Spa (chargeable and subject to availability), as well as activities like snorkeling in the house reef and stingray feeding. A complimentary shuttle runs between the two islands at scheduled times.

Roundtrip speedboat transfers from Malé International Airport are arranged by the resort, and rates are applicable, inclusive of fuel surcharges. Check-in is from 14:00, and check-out is until 11:00.
