The staff is absolutely amazing. Super kind, always available and willing to help and give you the best service. The room is exactly as shown when i made the reservation. Good cleaning of the rooms. Its only a 5-10 minute walk to bikini beach, but it is actually so refreshing to walk around the island and see all the locals and the charming streets. Maafushi is primarily inland, yet you can see that the area is growing rapidly and that many new guesthouses or hotels are being built. In the months to come, this place will get even better. Quality/price ratio is 10/10. I highly recommend merijaan for future travelers.

I am unable to express how lovely this hotel is. Without a doubt, the kind and attentive personnel will start. Youve come to the correct place if you want to stay at maafushi and enjoy the island from home. The breakfast is by far the best in terms of quality. There is secluded balcony where you can enjoy sweeping views of the sea and trees from the very comfortable room.

We stayed here last minute after another hotel was overbooked and im so grateful we did. The welcome from the staff was amazing and friendly. Beds were very comfortable and the view from our room was great.

I visited maafushi at the end of October 2023 with my wife for a 10 night stay at hotel merijaan which was arranged for us by Velaa trips. We were really happy during our stay which is very comfortable. The welcoming staff couldnt have been more helpful. They cooked us an early breakfast so we could go on early start trips and we also had three really reasonable evening meals there. An excellent place to base yourself for exploring maalfusi and the surrounding islands and very reasonable prices for the rooms. Opposite the beach with great views from the terrace we highly recommend staying. Thank you guys for making our visit so comfortable

The internet connection is very weak and occasionally not working. After, the internet is so slow and sometimes not work as it should be. Subsequently, everything is close to this hotel - shops, bikini beach, restaurants. Hereafter, you can enjoy a beautiful view during breakfast. Thereupon, they have helpful and friendly staff.

We highly recommend it! We have been staying at the Merijaan hotel in maafushi and loved it. The hotel is very comfortable, the rooms are very clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. On top of that, staff are super attentive and friendly, which made the experience even better!.

I heartily endorse this hotel. It was a really pleasant location to stay, and the breakfast was excellent. The staff members were excellent, they even prepared an early breakfast just for us, while the proprietor was also incredibly kind.

The location and facilities of hotel merijaan are excellent! The beach view is breathtaking. Would absolutely love to return and would suggest it to everyone. All the staff are very nice and friendly. They make you feel at home, are always there to help you and welcome you with a smile. Mazin was always available to assist us with anything we needed. Hes very professional and very pleasant. His service made our stay unforgettable and we are already looking forward to returning soon.
