Very smooth checkin. I had a great time while staying in Velana. The staff are very friendly and polite and they made all my transfers very smoothly. Great outdoor dining area with sand views. Rooms were very spacious and clean with good sea views, just some points that should be considered by the Velansa team - 1. Bathrooms ceiling shower was not working at all. 2. Hand shower holder was loose and came out 2-3 times.

Our experience started well, they had a cart waiting for us and drove us to the hotel. Gave us iced, sanitized towels and bottled water. My experience was not fruitful, because they were asked to use the folded towels because it looked like cockroaches. No additional towels were provided as beach property, and the management was unfriendly or helpful! Dinner was good as we ordered from the restaurant, but the buffet food was bland and unpleasant!.

It is located on maafushi island which was advantageous as we were able to do many activities at reasonable prices. The room was decent, the view of the sea was good, and the breakfast menu was limited but tasty. Reasonably priced (by maldives standards).

Our family had a wonderful time at the Velana beach hotel maldives. The staff was very polite and competent. Rooms were great and the view of the sea was breathtaking. Manager mr. Rimzan helped us plan our day activities such as scuba diving, island trips etc. So we didnt have to worry about arranging them on our own.

Beautiful experience, the property is located on the beach and bikini beach is only a 5minute walk away. The food was also delicious and the staff were very polite and friendly. All the employees are from srilanka and they are very friendly! Indians must stay here if visiting maafhushi maldives.

This hotel was one of the best decisions i have ever made. It has a wonderful atmosphere. There is also savoring surrounded by flora, which is nothing less than heaven. They offer services for almost everything. The rooms are excellent as well as the service. Staff members are humble and courteous. You will receive information to the finest of their knowledge from them. Additionally, the wifi is free, breakfast is provided in my package, mostly americanstyle, and it includes etiquette. What more could you want? Ps I will try to book the same hotel if ill return. Trust me, its topnotch.

One of the best hotels ive ever been to on maafushi island. It has a great location that gives you peace and relaxation. We went to maawafusi and were welcomed by the port staff. The towels were cool and wet, and he gave us bottled water. Our room was beautifully decorated. Staff is very nice and always has smiles on his face. They will help you with whatever you need. I went kayaking in the beautiful coral garden in front of hotel. There are good activities package with lots of adventure and leisure options. Too good food. Vegetarian options are also available. This hotel is the most unique thing i have seen about velana bech hotel because it is on the other side of port and offers true privacy. Also very clean and quiet is our private beach. You can relax on it for hours. Room service was excellent. So if you want to go here, ill recommend this place. Thank you team vela for making our vacation wonderful.

The hotel is fantastic. The staff is polite and wellmaintained. Its a plus to be able to sit right next to the beach. You can simply take in the scenery by opting for the sea view room. Nothing is perfect, just like everything else. I wish they had mentioned that toothbrushes and paste were not included in toiletries. There is mr. Hookah bar across from the hotel, and the scent is always coming. Closed windows are the only option if you dont like that smell. Even for vegetarians, the food options are excellent. However, as the days pass, youll get bored (cant comment for nonvegetarians). There are many other restaurants on the island. Near the motel, there are bicycles for you to explore the islands shoreline, along with some equipment for snorkeling. A kayak as well. All in all, i think this is an excellent place to stay when visiting maafushi.

Very good stay, family from Romania, 2 adults and 2 children. Rooms are clean, 5 minutes walk to bikini beach, very good a la carte food, we tried more restaurants on the island, this is one of the best options. Price point very nice. We sat comfortably in bed with all 4 people.

If you want to travel to the maldives, i advise you to bring dollars, cash, not bank cards or local currency because they charge a lot of extra fees and not everyone accepts credit cards. There is an atm on every mafushi island. On the excursion, it is enjoyable to swim with dolphins and sharks.

In July, i came here for a vacation. When we arrived and left, the hotel staff welcomed us in the shore bay, and they took care of our luggage. There is wifi on all hotels premises. It feels like 5 g at most. The room is clean, cozy, cute, with tidiness and cleanliness. Nice ambient lighting as well. Although the television is large, it would have been better if the channels had been properly organized and labeled. I think the air conditioning could have improved. They provide shampoo and body wash. However, there was no floor carpet, toothbrush, or toothpaste. Just for the behavior of the employees, im giving 7 stars. We felt really welcome, polite, courteous, etc. Their service has been excellent. On Sunday, we had an ala carte menu. My partner enjoyed their panna cota dessert. Even the manager is very kind. Breakfast and dinner are both options for us. A buffet americanstyle breakfast and an Asian or indonesianstyle dinner will be served at ubud. Everyone is taking care to their own business. And even at night, you felt quite safe. Similis, which serves the best fish and chips, was incredibly popular nearby. Overall, its quaint, small hotel with fourstar service. Overall, based on our travel experience, this was a good choice of october 3 hotel, not 4 star yet. The location was excellent, walking distance to all attractions, local shops, and supermarkets. Large, basic room with fan, air conditioning, flatscreen tv, mini fridge, simple bathroom, toilet, few small spots have mold. Makeup was done daily. View from the seaview room was quite nice, (if you ignore the trash or construction). All staff are friendly and smiling. Dinner buffet was good, with some good options. Breakfast was simple. If you need to join excursions throughout the day or find your dinner at other restaurants or hotels, it is advised to take yearly breakfast or half board.

I want to give my feedback on our hotel and the island in general. Everything was great. Hotel next to the ocean, beautiful view, clean territory, nice spa, and amazing staff. Gm Rimzan helped answer all our questions, needs and tasks. You can take a bike, kayak, walk around the islands, take your mask and discover riff, they offer the best price for excursions, the greatest one swimming with sharks, it is an incredible experience. Food is fine, there arent many salads for me, but thats okay. Everyone on the Island is very friendly and nice. I appreciate all of the Velana team for helping to make our first experience in the maldives very beautiful and with good memories. Without if not, ill return to find out more. They can also help you with transportation from or to Make airport. Thank you, Ukrainian girls, im sure you remember us, we love you.

This is the best experience so far. I enjoyed the view, the rooms were comfortable and cleaned frequently, reception has been helpful throughout our stay, and the staffs behavior was pleasant. It is worth recommending to my friends and family if they are going to male.
