It was an excellent stay; the location was great, and the reception staff—especially John—were incredibly friendly. My flight was early, so he prepared something for me to eat on the way; breakfast was included, though I couldn't have it due to the time. It’s an excellent option.

Orsaken till lågt betyg för renligheten var ett omfattande grävarbete utanför hotellet. Övigt perfekt läge. Nära till Auqaluna där hotellets poolområde ligger, ca 300 meter. Hotell.com och hotellet bör vara tydligare med detta. Bra hotell där jag har haft flera vistelser

Ganske god hotel med egen beach club Aqualung. Frokost er oko, vi tok familie rom, ganske stort og nok plass med balkongen. Mye fuktighet i rommet. Renhold var helt greit, ny håndklær hver eneste dag ☺️

Didn’t use the pool but it looked nice. Breakfast was quite varied. Great location only a 10 minute walk to the ferry for Valletta amd just round the corner from bars and restaurants. Close for buses and taxis

Location of the hotel is great. Based in Sliema/Griza area it is a 5 minute walk to the Sliema docks where you can easily hop on a ferry or one of the gondolas (€3 per person one-way) to Valletta. The hotel doesn't have an on-site pool but across the road there is Aqualuna which is like a beach club vibe (pool, sun loungers etc) and entrance is free to customers of the hotel. (You need to collect a receipt from hotel reception each day to access Aqualuna). Hotel is approx 15 minutes from the airport (traffic dependent). Room was cleaned every day and overall cleanliness of the hotel is good.

The Azur was the perfect hotel for our stay. It was centrally located and loved that it was across the street from the promenade for morning walks. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast buffet was the perfect start to the day. The pool facility was right across the street. There were lots of restaurants and pubs to visit in the evening.

I recently stayed in Malta and overall had a really enjoyable experience. The room was modern, well-maintained, and featured a lovely shower that felt like a real upgrade compared to many places I’ve stayed. We also had a balcony, which was a great bonus and made the stay feel a bit more special. Breakfast was fantastic each morning, with plenty of choice and everything fresh and well presented. The surrounding area was clean and pleasant, and the staff were consistently attentive and helpful throughout our stay. That said, there are a couple of things worth being aware of. You’ll need to pay a damage deposit at check-in, which might catch some people off guard if you’re not expecting it. Also, the check-in process can be quite slow, especially if several guests arrive at the same time. It seemed like only one person was actually handling check-ins while another staff member was focused on getting guests to fill out forms, which created a bit of a bottleneck. Overall, despite the slightly frustrating arrival experience, the quality of the room, the excellent breakfast, and the attentive staff made for a very pleasant stay.
