We really enjoyed our stay at Ava Resort. The staff were really friendly and accommodating throughout the resort. The salt water and fresh water pools were always clean, the poolside was very clean, and the complimentary day beds were a great experience. The beach could use some cleanup, but the sargassum barriers kept all the seaweed off the beach. Rooms were nicely equipped, ocean facing, and cleaned twice daily! Fully stocked fridge, snacks, and daily towel replacement was really appreciated. The Ava kids club was probably the nicest kids club we’ve experienced. So may cool activities for the kids, the staff were wonderful, and always ensured the safety of our children. Our kids kept begging to go back every day. The theater/live shows were a nice addition to the amenities. It was nice to have indoor shows, out of the heat and sun. The Magic Show was insane. More of a mentalist/illusionist but the performance was mind blowing. The drinks throughout the resort were excellent. This was the first resort we’ve been to (out of probably 5-6 resorts) where the drinks actually contained alcohol. They were mixed well and delicious. The taco stand was awesome too. We stopped there probably 2-3 times a day. Lastly, a big thank you to ALBERTO with the CONCIERGE group. Alberto was assigned as our personal concierge for the week. He assisted with reservation changes for the restaurants, confirming our shuttle pick-up, provided us with and daily schedules of activities. Thank you Alberto

We had a wonderful stay at AVA Resort Cancun. We arrived a few days early to enjoy the resort as a family before a company convention, and both experiences were amazing. The rooms were incredibly comfortable and made it easy to relax and recharge. Room service was excellent—fast, reliable, and consistently delicious. The pool was a standout feature: the temperature was perfect, and there were so many fun activities throughout the day. Our family especially loved the floating obstacle course—it was such a fun and unique experience. We also enjoyed kayaking and spending time together at the F1 simulator and arcade, which our son absolutely loved. I especially want to highlight the Ava Kids Club, as they truly made our experience so much easier. Our 6-year-old is naturally shy and usually hesitant in new environments, but the staff made him feel so welcome that he wanted to go back every single day. They were incredibly attentive and engaging, and we really appreciated how safe and secure the facility is. It gave us complete peace of mind to enjoy time as a couple and attend company events child-free. Honestly, we would come back to this resort for this reason alone. A special thank you to Andrea, Ivon, Grecia, Anne, Rebe, Yadi, and Laura—you all work so hard and are amazing with the kids. Thank you for making our son feel comfortable and safe. If I had one small criticism, it would be that there isn’t much of a beach, but the pool made up for it.

Overall great property. Food was great, pool area was well maintained and the staff were very friendly. Had a blast doing the obstacle course. Lots of seating options and the food served by the pool was very convenient. Kids also had a blast at the kids club. 10/10 experience.

Fue relevante contar con La concierge que no otorgó Expedia, de nombre Samayra. Hizo la diferencia al ayudarnos con todos y cada uno de los servicios no solo con una atención profesional sino preocupada por nuestro bienestar y con el objetivo de disfrutar cada una de las experiencias. Nos hizo todas las reservas para las cenas de los restaurantes, nos informó acerca de las dudas de los horarios y las amenidades, nos ayudó con el late check in, y si, su servicio fue excpcional. Nos hizo la diferencia en su totalidad. Quedamos encantados con su apoyo y pudimos disfrutar gracias a ella, cada momento de nuestra estancia en el hotel, que además ofrece todo lo que uno pudiera esperar, y más. Pasamos una estancia inigualable, y muy difícil de superar.

Booked with Expedia. Arrived at the hotel and was assigned a personal concierge. In addition we received a room upgrade. No complaints. Restaurant bookings were available and the buffet was well stocked and very tasty. The many pools were clean and where most spent the time. A lot of very comfortable outdoor seating to eat, relax and socialize. Staff were well trained to be representatives of the hotel. Definitely a stand out. This property and experience exceeded all of our expectations. Great spot for families to reconnect and make memories.

Our stay at AVA Resort in Cancun was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how beautiful and well-kept the property is; everything felt first-class and thoughtfully designed. What truly stood out was the level of service. Our personal assistant, Rodrigo, went above and beyond throughout our stay. He checked in with us every day, made sure our plans were in order, and kept us updated on all the activities happening around the resort. His attention to detail and genuine care made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. All in all, the stunning resort, great amenities, and exceptional service made this a trip to remember. This was my first time staying at the AVA Resort and I loved it, it’s clean, new, family friendly, and they have a lot of staff that is well trained. The check in was so easy and fast (if you book with EXPEDIA or are a member you get private check in and a concierge). We check in and got our room in under 20 minutes, we got placed on the north side room 729, we were right downstairs from the bowling alley, arcade, buffet, a bar, taqueria, ice cream shop, and the pool deck. Unfortunately we were only able to try 1 restaurant with was the MINAMI and it was a 10/10. The buffet was good not great. They had 2 coffee stands that were good too. It is a super safe and secured place, we did excursions everyday so we got Ubers and we had to let the workers know so they can give access to the drivers. The pools were clean, you’re always able to get reservations for the water activities. My 5 year old loved the kids club, they have different activities everyday and have certain hours for family time. Worker clean room 2 times a day, room service food is good and fast. Check out was fast too. Loved this resort will definitely be coming back. The location was amazing only 10 minutes away from the airport and Ubers ranged from 5-10 dollars to zona hotelera
