Balu Hotel was amazing for our family! We live on the island and wanted to do a staycation for our daughter's birthday. We really appreciated the staff being so kind and welcoming. Loved that our dogs were allowed the rooms allowed easy access for them to go outside. The pool was great - our daughter couldn't get enough of it. The hotel itself was wonderful on its own, and it is in a fantastic district where you can walk to anything your heart desires - restaurants, parks, beaches. Already planning our next staycation here. Thanks for a great stay!

My stay at Hotel Bali Isla Mujeres was amazing! From the moment we arrived, the staff was super friendly and made us feel right at home. The place has a peaceful, tropical vibe, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the island. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated — you can tell they pay attention to every detail. The location is excellent too, just a short walk from the beach, restaurants, and the main attractions. It’s a great spot for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a chill atmosphere. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Isla Mujeres!

We loved Alise and all the staff! No bugs, no worries, friendly people. Cute kitties are a bonus ! Very great location for walkers and foodies :) we would definitely return!

Staff at the property were lovely! You sort of get what you pay for, it’s nice they’ve made the effort to modernise the property but you can tell it’s still a little worn. But as mentioned you get what you pay for. One down side was the water ran really low on our last night, only to wake up the following morning with the toilet not flushing and no water coming out of any taps. I had to use a water bottle to get water out of the pool so the toilet would flush.

La habitación es muy basica pero amplia.. no tiene TV ni espacios para colocar o colgar ropa.. el personal es muy amable, aunque tienes que indicar que te hagan la limpieza si no, no la hacen.. en general es buen hotel para descansar y pasar el dia conociendo la isla..

La habitación era muy amplia y cumplía con lo necesario. La cama mas cercana al balcón rechinaba mucho y cerca de la puerta, el techo y pared no tenían recubrimiento. Lupi en la recepción fue genial.

We asked for two beds and got one twin and one double bed… a challenge to fit 4 people this way. The staff was very friendly though.

Un hotel muy básico, solo para dormir, aunq la zona es muy ruidosa, tuve un problema al final sali del hotel 11 30am y por esa media hr no me querian regresar mi depósito, me parecio de mal gusto la Cero tolerancia

Bed was like concrete. Zero amenities. 1 roll of toilet paper and not replaced even when only a few square remained. No blankets only a sheet. Room opened to back alley which reeked of sewer. We were pool level perhaps the floors above were better. Price was cheap at $80 Canadian a night. This is first bad Hotel/Hostel/Air BnB I’ve ever given in our 10 years of visiting here. Rooftop patio had great views. Shower was an adventure and sink in bathroom shoots ever direction like streaming lasers except towards your hands.

Great staff! Have nothing but nice things to say about the staff. Water pressure in shower was horrid, and water pressure in sink was so strong it splashes water everywhere when you turn it on.
