On the second night of our stay at the hotel, we usually venture out to the next village for dinner. The fact that this Cabanastyle hotel is located on a bluff, in paradise, on an extremely long stretch of unspoiled beach is true. The small hotel grounds are exquisitely maintained, and the staff is very welcoming. The cabana is basic but clean and comfortable, and each has a terrace with a hammock, outside furniture, and a table. The pool area is lovely, and the steps down to the beach are most easily reachable. I wouldnt disagree that the dining establishment is good! Weve stayed here quite often, and at best the food was adequate. On our second night at the hotel, we usually sneak out to the next village with us for a meal. Another hit against it is how no staff appears to clean up the pool area in preparation for the next mornings activity. We are lying out here at lunchtime, surrounded by towels left by yesterdays guests. The hotel is a true gem and far off the beaten path. We do not expect high internet speeds or water pressure. We are here to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings and solitude, but a little more attention to detail and fresh orange juice in the morning would be a lovely and not impossible addition.

Very special place indeed. From tehuamixtle, we saw it across the water and had no idea we would go back for lunch. It is wonderful. The restaurant, cabana, and pool are all fantastic in the grounds. A pin dropped. The long beach offers a wonderful silence. Four of us ate. Everything was excellent, including fish tacos, pastor tacos, and chicken quesadillas. Because you could see down the beach and out to the cabana, the open-air eatery was wonderful. Also, the service was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, and they decorated everything for Christmas, which was very nice. It is in the ideal location for just being yourself, and the grounds were impeccable. We would love to visit there for a few days sometime.

I spent 2 pleasant days here. Great views, reasonably priced, and a tasty breakfast is included. The room was rural but fantastic. Grounds were well-kept. Wi-Fi is available with a touch of a button. The check-in and check-out were both painless. I think I will come back. 5 stars.

We go here every year for a weekend break from our home in Puerto Vallarta. The hotelier is located on a hill overlooking a beach that goes as far as you can see and farther than you can walk. There isn't a town nearby, not even the towns that nestled in the palms somewhere and a few miles away. The cabins, each with a bathroom, are basic but adequate, nothing special. Choose one on the ridge if you want beautiful views and don't mind the pounding of the waves at night. The other cabins are quieter. Although simple, the restaurant's food is delicious and well-prepared. The waiters are very helpful, and the cooks will suit your tastes and dietary needs. The common area around the pool is lovely, as is the view of whales, manta rays, and schools of fish. Spectacular communal space around the pool is beautiful. Treat yourself to a lunch at the Candles Restaurant in the nearby, car accessible fishing village. Muchissimas to Eddie, the manager, and the wait staff and maids. They graciously accommodated us while we played cards at the restaurant tables late at night!.
