La cama súper cómoda, el aire acondicionado y el ventilador espectaculares. Muchas tiendas cerca, el mar cruzando la calle. Ubicación excepcional. El personal y el dueño muy amables. Me permitieron visitar un cenote en otro hotel de su propiedas y salir un poco mas tarde de la habitación.

Such a cute little space. Found some interesting creatures in the room but we sort of expected that being where it is. Other than that, we loved the space, location, the wonderful workers and the outdoor kitchen. It does get quite loud from the club across so when you go, expect that but this has nothing to do with the hotel. Would definitely go back! (And buy better ear plugs) 😅

Casa Ambar provided such a unique experience for my stay in Tulum which enhanced my trip positively. I have never stayed in a hotel quite like this but would absolutely return. I woke up each morning feeling one with nature through the windows looking into the jungle and wildlife right before my eyes. The space is so peaceful, however conveniently located in the heart of Tulum. I was walking distance from the beach, amazing restaurants, shops and nightlife while having privacy and a quiet nights sleep. The staff were always around the premise and the girls were prompt to keep the rooms clean each day. Can’t wait to come back!

Casa Ambar was a really great hotel. The hotel is centrally located for the restaurants and clubs near the beach. The staff were very nice, breakfast delicious, and my room was large. The only down side is that this hotel is on the jungle side rather than beach side of the road. I would happily stay here again.

great experience. room was very clean and quiet, except for the local wildlife. it's beautiful traditional architecture with a great courtyard. *air conditioning worked! multiple good food varieties in close proximity. the hotel is located in a shopping district i was out walking the streets around midnight and felt perfectly safe. I will stay at this property again.

I absolutely loved staying here. It’s amazingly quiet, in the jungle and the vibes are so on point and not cheesy like a lot of Tulum. And in the middle of everything. I’ve been to Tulum 15 times and this was probably the best.

Casa Ambar is a lovely place to stay with a rustic vibe and lush grounds. The reception is very kind and helpful. Beach is across the street. Cute boutiques and shopping all in the area. Perfect location! Solo female traveler and I felt safe at the property.

This boutique hotel is really lovely, decorated like in souther Spain. My room has a very tall ceiling and a big balcony. The shower is probably the biggest I’ve ever seen in this area of Tulum (I changed hotels 4 times in 2 weeks as everywhere was sold out). The bed and pillows are very comfy. The drawback is there is no fridge in the room (there is one in the public kitchen where you can cook). The staff is very friendly and ready to help. Beach towels are provided but there is no free access to the beach (there is a campground hotel right in front where you can pay 200 pesos to go to the beach, other beach clubs require a minimum spend). The hotel is in the epicentre of Tulum’s clubbing scene. Be ready to hear some music day and night, not very loud but the clubs are all nearby.
