Awww man where do I begin??? From the moment we got off our transport to the days we stayed there to my check out this morning, everything was excellent!!! Well kept , great hospitality, great customer service!! I wish I can request for you guys to ask for a specie person but that’s won’t be necessary. Because they are all amazing!

Excelente Resort, instalaciones bien cuidadas entorno muy bonito. Albercas bien cuidadas, la playa con sargazo es por la época pero no demerita las demás instalaciones. Restaurantes ricos para mí gusto el Italiano fue el mejor. Volvería con gusto.

July 10-17. My partner and I went to this resort and we want to return immediately! We chose this resort specifically because it was embedded in nature- we saw monkeys, coatis, lizards, iguanas, fish, birds etc! Pioquinto continuously kept our room fresh with replenishing towels, snacks and waters in our fridge. We dipped our toes in the ocean but didn’t swim due to nature’s sargassum. The beach staff were continuously cleaning as again this is nature’s doing and not the resort’s! We chose to spend our time in the pool which was so spacious and each day the staff would invite the guests to play all kinds of games. Regarding the food: each restaurant was fabulous and delicious! Our favourite was Tao Cat (this is where we saw a monkey over us!). Viviana was the queen bee for making the most delicious omelettes ever! Regarding booking reservations for dinners: it was so simple to do- do not let this sway based on other reviews, so simple and multiple times for all of the restaurants. Huge shout out to Quetzabel who was the hostess for the breakfast and lunch buffet- she knew everyone’s names and was the sweetest. The entertainment nights and team was amazing! Shout out to Cuellar, Diego, Leo, Pau and Ed - the most fun, caring, funny team!

Nice resort. Small. Only four restaurants so if you are there for many nights you may get bored with the cuisine. Good was good except for the steak house. After a good rain the rooms smell musty and like sewer. We stayed in the closest building to the pool. Easy walk to the pool and beach. The beach was nice. We went during seaweed season so there was a lot of seaweed daily on the beach. The staff worked night and day to try to clear it. The staff was exceptional. Kind, friendly and helpful. The shows at night were fantastic too. Actual performances, dancing singing acrobatics … not just lip synch. The drinks were good. Not serving any alcohol until 10 am so no mimosas with breakfast. Overall, I would recommend. I think most places in Mexico have sort of a musty smell. Not nearly as bad as our last trip to Mexico at a Princess resort.

My sister and I recently stayed at Catalonia, and we had such a wonderful experience. From the moment you walk into the lobby, you immediately feel welcomed. Every member of the staff is incredibly kind, friendly, and always willing to help with anything you need. The hotel is beautiful, and the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and spotless. One thing that really stood out to us was how clean everything was. You constantly see staff cleaning the rooms, hallways, and common areas, which shows how much they care about maintaining the property. I especially want to recognize Quetzabel, one of the hostess at the pool restaurant. She is an amazing woman with such warmth and genuine kindness. Her attention to every guest was outstanding, and she truly made us feel special. I also want to thank Eddy from the entertainment team. He made our stay so much more fun with his energy, talent, and positive attitude. He is incredibly talented and has a big heart. The food and drinks were delicious, and every meal was something we looked forward to. Overall, our stay exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely return. Thank you to everyone at Catalonia for making our vacation so memorable!

Disfrutamos mucho nuestra estancia, la. Información de la página es sumamente funcional y practica para ver horarios de actividades y restaurantes. La comida muy rica en especial disfrutamos mucho el restaurante BeLove, el menú es exquisito para desayunar, comer o cenar. Todo el personal fue muy amable y atento siempre con gran disposición y servicio. Nos dieron muchas facilidades para la llegada y la salida, esperamos regresar pronto.

The staff was really nice, they would check up on you and were really friendly. We went mid June and it was a really bad seaweed season, but there were workers working daily cleaning up the seaweed to make the beach accessible. The rooms were clean and pool towels were exchanged nightly. The property itself was a lot smaller than expected, there was one walkway connecting all the buildings to the pool and beach. Food wise there was one buffet serving breakfast and lunch, and for dinner you had to make reservations (Mexican, Italian, Asian, or a Steakhouse). And a snack bar for lunch next to the members only seafood restaurant. There weren’t any tennis/ pickle ball courts but they had a ping pong table, and a gym/ spa which comes at an additional cost. The membership people were pretty ruthless in trying to get you to sign up so be aware incase you are not interested to begin with. They take you to a breakfast/ lunch and take up half the day trying to convince you to sign up even if you are adamant from the start. But unfortunately that is their job and not different than other resorts. The activities people were really energetic and had plenty of games / activities throughout the day. Overall great experience, but I wouldn’t say its exceptionally better than other resorts.

Comfy beds, perfect temperature in the rooms~ we just had just the basic room and it was great! Loved the balcony in the room as it overlooked a secluded little area of fauna- often watched wildlife from our view. The pool was delicious! Food was good too for the most part. Farther from town than we expected but found the local van transport into town for cheap- would recommend this place to stay.
