Prior to booking I had issues with getting conflicting payments for ocean front room as I had been recovering from cancer and cannot walk too far to the beach. I talk to the manager once I got there and I was sad because they would not answer their phone prior to the trip and I would always go to voicemai the manager fixed everything for me and checked on me every day and make sure my trip was flawless. I feel so rested and recovered thanks to the empathy of the manager Magali. She made sure she contacted me every day to make sure everything was OK and even saw me when I left to go back to Dallas. The hotel is so clean and beautiful and lots to do the ocean was great the cabana was my best part and the food was amazing at every restaurant that we tried. The staff was amazing as well. Best Trip I've ever taken

This is our second stay at excellence resort. First one was in Punta Cana, three weeks later we tried the one in Mexico. Our stay at this resort was absolutely exceptional. Every aspect exceeded our expectations, from the beautiful accommodations and outstanding service to the delicious food and beautiful surroundings. The staff made us feel truly welcome, and every detail was handled with care. We had a perfect vacation and would highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Mexico. Fernando Guevara the hotel manager, Benjamin the waiter from magma, Mauricio the chef, and EDWIN the waiter are the BEST.

Everything was Great. All restaurants were great. The Grill for dinner and The lobster house for breakfast was my go to. There is a coffee house bar called Aroma which sold great matcha,coffee & gelato. The pools were nice and clean and The resort felt very safe.

Fantastic service, amenities, food and drinks. Rooms were very spacious and had lots of space for things. Great resort layout and ease of getting around. Tons to do. No complaints at all. Would definitely come back and will stay at another Excellence hotel in other places. Amazing vacation!

We spent five nights at the Excellence Riviera Cancun over Memorial Day weekend. We had a slight mix up with our room but Samuel rectified it for us. We stayed in a swim up room in Building 6. The beach wasn’t ideal with seaweed but we enjoyed the view and sound of the ocean regardless. They did a great job of trying to keep it clean. We loved the food, the entertainment and especially the lazy river. The dinner on the beach was amazing as well. We have stayed at many Excellence properties and really enjoyed this one. Special shout outs to Jose, Edy, Pablo, Manuel, Samuel and Cecilia.

Exceptional place to stay The property was absolutely gorgeous, and the staff was fantastic—especially Mark, who brought so much energy to the poolside activities. The theater show La Fiesta Mexico was amazing, and both the buffet and show‑night food were excellent. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the ceviche. As for the beach, the ocean had quite a bit of algae, but the sand was beautiful and the chair setup and accommodations were great. Overall, an exceptional place to stay.

Our stay at Excellence Riviera Cancun was amazing from beginning to end. The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the staff truly goes above and beyond to keep the rooms spotless and comfortable at all times. All of the restaurants are à la carte, which makes the dining experience feel much more upscale and personalized, and the pool is absolutely beautiful, stretching throughout much of the resort and creating a very relaxing atmosphere. Although the beach itself is not the best in the area, the hotel staff works very hard every day to keep the seaweed under control and maintain the beach as clean as possible. Overall, it was a very relaxing and high-quality experience with outstanding service.

I cannot say enough good things about our stay. My wife has SEVERE latex and banana allergies as well as others we haven’t pinpointed yet and they went ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR HER. She was able to request what she wanted from The Kitchen Table for breakfast and they would personally make it each morning to avoid all contamination. We also let them know where we would have lunch and dinner and the chefs would come out and reassure us that everything was made separate for her to avoid any contamination. Everyone checked on us everywhere we went and it was soooo important to us that they took it so seriously. Of course she couldn’t help but end up having allergic reaction right as we were waiting to leave. We aren’t sure to what as it was completely random. The doctor was able to give her medicine and an injection and monitor her. Because of this we missed our transportation but the hotel provided us a taxi and we made it to our flight! We cannot say enough good things about the hotel and the staff. And to add to it, the food was 1000/10. It was SOOOO good everywhere we ate. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much to Fernando and Chef Benjamin and the manager of the Kitchen Table. You made this trip absolutely perfect.

Service was impeccable, facilities are very well maintained, and there are so many pools to choose from. If you’re looking for a relaxing stay (no nightlife) this is the place for you. Food was alright overall but our favorite restaurant was The Grill which had the best quality food.

Amazing resort with excellent food and hospitality! We truly enjoyed our stay, as there were so many fun activities to take part in throughout the day. The staff were incredibly friendly, courteous, and welcoming. Diana, Max, and Marc did a fantastic job keeping everyone entertained and engaged during the activities. The rooms, restaurants, and pools were all very clean and well maintained. We would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a wonderful all-inclusive vacation experience.
