Everything about this hotel stay was relaxing from the beach chairs seaside with a giant wooden Palapa and full service all day drinks and lunch whatever you want We had massages which at first the $300 price tag seemed high but then when you realize it is a time to go and spend at least three hours in the spa with a private pool just for the spa patrons, a coffee bar with yogurt and complementary drinks, outdoor hot tub and the staff is so friendly. It’s just a place to go and really have a Zen moment. All the restaurants are fabulous and they treated us like royalty at the Toro steak restaurant. We were taken into the dry age, beef room, and given a small sample of the chef’s favorite steak and explained the process of the meat drying, the food was wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed our entire stay at this hotel resort. A bonus was visiting the adjoining hotels for dinner at the Banyan tree and Rosewood. Golf carts are your taxi which the resort runs a very efficient service

Highlights of 4 night stay: - Lovely, well maintained grounds and facilities - like being in the jungle, but with beach access - Surprisingly good, varied, and innovative restaurants - and almost always able to get in with short notice. Shout outs: the cuisine at Fuego and Bassano. Most surprising: great pool food, both at the beach and lagoon pools - Fantastic bathroom - great design and light - Top notch spa - Amazingly consistent and strong service across all resort venues - it's clear that every employee here has been "Hyatt-ized" to greet guests warmly and professionally and always be helpful - Best upgrade? Butler service! Being able to group chat on WhatsApp was much easier than a concierge. Special shout out to Edgar for incredible helpfulness and availability. Helped with restaurant and outing reservations (on and off site), transportation access, maintenance issues (super fast response), and even finding and delivering Dramamine to our room. We were blown away! - Bikes everywhere (to take to the beach pool area, etc.) and the everpresent shuttles. Fair warning: The beach is .5 mile away, but it's very easy to get to, even in the evening for bar/restaurant reservations. Only weak points were check in - took WAY too long and wasn't very welcoming or helpful - and check out, which felt impersonal after such a great stay. Check in was redeemed when we were upgraded to butler service, noted above. We look forward to a return trip.

our stay was extended by an extra four days due to a historic blizzard on the United States East Coast. The same day in Jalisco, there was Narco violence that shut down Puerto Vallarta and Guadalajara. Despite everything going on around us, we had an amazing stay. The staff is universally wonderful, polite, and endlessly helpful. Gabriel at the front desk was instrumental in helping arrange a room past our expected checkout date. Everyone from the cleaning staff to the general manager did everything to help make our stay not just easy but amazing. We'll be back next February.

Clean room daily. We were there for a wedding and it was wonderful. Between the Fairmont & Rosewood, it was a memorable weekend. The golf course was excellent as well.
