Food is amazing, make sure you reserve hibachi. Seems like the property is not crowded where ever you go. Top notch service and people. Beach is amazing, no seaweed at all. We will be back because of the people and food.

I went here for my honeymoon August 2025. My first impressions were very good 10/10. The transportation was very easy to get to and a very nice car. They greeted us with a glass of champagne and took our bags to our room. Check in was quick and smooth. They had our room personalized for our honeymoon. The pool was amazing. We could not get enough of the swim up bar. The food was amazing. The staff was so nice and helpful and make the trip so enjoyable and easy. It wasn’t too crowded. The resort was beautiful and clean. There were so many places to eat and drink. We were only here for four days but we had the best time. It is a family friendly resort so there are children. And the night life was very minimal so if that’s what you are looking for, I wouldn’t recommend this place. Other than that one thing, this place is definitely a 10/10

Room - 4/5: Our room was spacious and probably as clean as it could be. Some of the furniture (e.g. sofa and chair) is fabric so I can imagine it's hard to get some of the stains and marks out. We had a few issues with the shower water temp - on the first night we could only get cold water and on subsequent nights we could only get warm/hot water. Food 3.75-4/5: Coming from Canada, the food at the buffet and restaurants is not mindblowingly amazing, but definitely above average and quite good for Mexico. We liked the Surf & Turf restaurant the most (order the ribeye and shrimp!). The seafood medley grill, which has mussels, scallops and squid, from the buffet is great during lunchtime. Also highly recommend the fresh coconuts from the juice bar between 12-2 p.m. Notable mentions: tacos from the food truck, iced vanilla lattes and frappes from Sweet Corner. Service 5/5: All the servers and staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities 5/5: The resort felt well thought out and never too crowded. We liked that every building has a big pool that they can easily access, in addition to the main pool near the centre of the resort. The beach had soft sand and veeery little seaweed/sargassum - very swimmable. The grounds are well manicured and maintained.

Great locations; staff always helpful. Amenities, food quality - excellent and consistent! Many staff members deserve honorable mention; Daniel, Victor, Sergio - bar tenders. Lizo's staff - front desk and waiters - made my birthday dinner VERY special. Brass restaurant - ALWAYS busy, but staff would not let you notice the stress that is placed on them by always overbooked schedule. Spa staff - wonderful; estheticians and and valet staff. Housekeeping - VERY attentive. Nothing but great experience!

This was a tremendous experience for me as a solo traveler. I was afforded the privacy I desired with the option for fun activities and wonderful food. I cannot say enough about the quality of service and kindness of staff. The grounds are beautiful and the entire feel was a delightful blend of casual yet exclusive. Highly recommend for solo travelers, couples or families!

Food was amazing! I loved the fact I did not have to make reservations for the restaurants. Beach is cleaned daily but the seaweed was already present in mid May. Staff was nice and room service always responded quickly, for towels or water etc. I did not like the fact that the room a/c did not keep up with the humidity, so it would not go below 71 (it was 89 outside). They gave us a fan for the room which was nice :) They explained the A/C turns off if you open the balcony door, not sure if that was the issue, but even with balcony door closed the A/C did not keep up. Definably a family resort specially if you have kids, they have a lot of kids activities and the kids loved the water slides better than the beach because of the seaweed. If you go to the beach early I guess it would be better, but this was a vacation so no early stuff for us. Will definably come back!

We booked Wednesday and arrived Friday beginning of May 2026. Resort was able to assign our room to be near my son’s room. Very accommodating. Excellent service. Italian restaurant was disappointing lunch and dinner. The French adults only restaurant is by far the best meal! All other restaurants and the buffet were excellent with a good variety. Clean beach. Able to be in the ocean every day. The Private pool rooms were ideal for mom and dad to hang out and enjoy while baby had afternoon naps. Best vacation spot. Ideal for families with kiddies. Would go again.

We had an incredible stay at Finest Playa Mujeres by The Excellence Collection, especially in the Excellence Club section. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional — every staff member was warm, professional, and attentive to every detail. The Excellence Club experience was absolutely worth it. The private areas were peaceful and luxurious, the upgraded amenities made the stay even more relaxing, and the personalized service truly made us feel valued. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully maintained with an amazing view. The food exceeded expectations throughout the resort, especially at Dommo and Le Petit Plaisir. Both restaurants offered outstanding meals, beautiful presentation, and top-tier service that truly elevated our experience. Every dinner felt special, and the attention to detail from the staff was remarkable. A very special thank you to Julieta and Elsa from Dommo for their kindness and exceptional service. We also want to give a huge thank you to the amazing professionals Victor, Emmanuel and Elias, who made our stay even more memorable with their outstanding hospitality and dedication.
