I highly recommend this resort. The customer service was fantastic, the food is amazing, De Cortez is well worth it and the property is very clean and scenic. The layout is chaos but that’s the fun part. Walk around everywhere. It’s fun because it’s unique. You will not see many places like this.

The staff was absolutely amazing!! Every single waiter, bartender, bellhop, or concierge went the extra mile to make our stay wonderful. Every one is so attentive without being overbearing. The rooms were squeaky clean. And the property itself is stunning, the architecture & art reflect the local culture you don’t feel like you’re on a kitschy resort. The pools are all amazing and so well maintained, there is plenty of room to find a spot & take a dip. The ocean is pretty rough here, you can dip your feet in but that is about it. The rip currents are strong & unsafe for swimming. But the pool faces the ocean so we didn’t mind! You can still take a nice stroll along the ocean. The food at Pitayas is the best, definitely worth it to make a reservation there every night you stay! And the bartender at Pitayas made some of the best drinks we have ever had. He seemed like a professional mixologist. We would tell him flavors we liked and he would make us custom drinks! So good!! The cevicheria on the beach was our next favorite spot to eat. The other restaurants are okay, some of them aren’t open everyday or have extra charges for all inclusive. Would 100% come back!

Great place to have the all-inclusive deal. The food was fantastic, The spa Amazing, and the pools great! We will stay here again sometime in the future. Again, get the all-inclusive. Otherwise, it is expensive.

The resort was excellent for our family vacation. The vibes are very chill if you want a laid back vacation. Close to town just a 15 min uber ride away. Golf course onsite which was great for us. Food was fantastic.

An Amazing Family Vacation – We Can’t Wait to Come Back! Our family of four had an incredible stay at Hacienda del Mar, and this was easily one of our favorite vacations. From the moment we arrived, the resort exceeded our expectations. We were unexpectedly upgraded to a beautiful ocean-view suite, which made the trip feel even more special. The grounds are absolutely stunning, with beautiful landscaping, gorgeous architecture, and amazing views of the Sea of Cortez. The food was outstanding. Pitahayas was the highlight of our trip—phenomenal food, exceptional service, and an unforgettable sunset view. Every restaurant we visited offered something different, and we enjoyed the variety throughout our stay. The staff was warm, friendly, and always willing to help. Housekeeping kept our room spotless, the servers were attentive, and the concierge gave us great recommendations that helped make our trip even better. Traveling with two young boys, we really appreciated how family-friendly the resort is. There were plenty of pools, activities, and space for the kids to have fun while we were still able to relax. The resort never felt overcrowded, which made for a peaceful and enjoyable atmosphere. If I had one suggestion, it would be to make the room charges and folio a little easier to understand, as the package entries can be confusing at first. Our family of four had a wonderful stay at this property! We used the pool daily and never had any issue finding a lounge chair. The food options throughout the resort were great, and we highly recommend Sirenas restaurant—they were wonderful at customizing meals for my very picky 4-year-old. Another major highlight was Rocio N. at Tomates. She took amazing care of us, was extra attentive to our kids, and was incredibly welcoming and helpful with the menu items (I highly suggest trying the green apple salad!). We had a lovely vacation, the all-inclusive package is well worth it, and we will definitely be returning in the future.

Clean room stocked daily. Excellent staff who go above and beyond daily. Great views, walkable beach and small are to access water (waves were too big for much of our stay). Delicious food. Would recommend!

Very nice resort, well kept, good food, excellent staff. Multiple pools! Very good choice of restaurants and food choices. The evening entertainment was very good! Great location, safe and very comfortable for our us and our adult children. There were young children there too, but absolutely no bother or issues. The place was clean and always picked up. Only recommendation was the lounge chairs by the pools are showing a bit of wear but not a big deal. Just throw a towel on it and it's perfect! We'd definitely go back! I thought it was a great value for the price.

We were fortunate enough to have ocean front, Spectacular! Although we spent most of our time at one of the beautiful pools. The staff was top notch, so kind and accommodating. Poolside staff, fabulous! Grace at the smoothie bar, next to the spa, made me a healthy smoothie every day. The resuraunt choices were good. The beach at the mouth of the sea of Cortez was so pretty. Unfortunately the tide has a dangerous undertow. So we did not go in. But we were able to watch an abundance of sea life. You could hear the numerous fish jumping right from our loungers. Super relaxing! Highly recommend.. Returning in October!!!! 💕
