The staff were amazing, at the front desk Angel was so nice and helpful with everything once I arrived in the later evening hours. The lady’s in the day were also helpful with everything as well. My best experience was with our room maid Clara, she is so humble and such a down to earth person and will go out of her way to help with whatever she can.

Sylvia (who speaks English) and her staff were very pleasant and helpful. As it was hot in Oaxaca at the time of my visit, Sylvia provided me two fans to keep cool at night. I'm not an early morning eater, so I didn't try their breakfast but I had use of a shared refrigerator, kitchen area and their cold, filtered water dispenser. The room I had was spartan but clean. The hotel is in walking distance of Centro (10 minutes?). I would definitely stay there again.

The place was well above what we expected with the rate we paid! It’s clean , staff is excellent. Our room was perfect- I just need a bed and a hot shower and that was perfect- the shower was very hot! The outside patio on second floor has amazing views! Highly recommend this place! Absolutely will stay here again!!

A great budget option for staying in Oaxaca. The staff are welcoming and friendly, and it was lovely having home cooked eggs on the rooftop each morning and a cheap beer from the fridge in the evening. Rooms are small and a bit dated, but the price and overall vibe of the hotel made up for that. We did have an issue on the first night with the toilet cistern overflowing but the staff member on duty came to sort it straight away. Location is ideal for an easy walk into the centre, and there are several great food options nearby. We recommend Humar for amazing fish tacos.

El hotel se siente muy hogareño; está muy bien ubicado, muy cerca del centro. Lo mejor es el personal, son súper amables y siempre con mucha disposición. Sugeriría un poco de remodelación porque las instalaciones ya son un poco viejas.

This is a friendly, peaceful, and authentic hotel that is blessedly removed from the super busy center but easily walkable to the cathedral, markets, and various restaurants. There is a peaceful rooftop terrace where you can find self serve beverages as well as breakfast (both for a small extra charge). It is so wonderful to stay in a place owned and managed sustainably by locals who love it. I will definitely be back.

We loved this place! Very homey feeling. Cozy rooms, no need for A/C in March. Mornings are cool, and then it gets hot! The breakfast was incredible! Delicious and eggs to order. I’ll recommend this for sure!

The hotel is in a very convenient location, a short walk from the historic centre and all its sights. The staff were extremely helpful and the place felt very cosy. We were able to park outside the hotel on the street, which was a bonus. Thank you to the reception staff who were always cheerful and so helpful.
