I was looking for a room in a hostel and found this place with a private bathroom and bed for one person at the same price as hostel, I decided to book and found myself very surprised by the cleanliness of the place and the excellent service of Arturo at the reception.

Excellent location, clean, large room, and great bathroom. We got a decent deal and were really happy with our stay. The hotel was a long walk from the bus station and maybe not ideal if your wearing a tourist badge a backpack and a confused look on your face, so I recommend getting a taxi, it was 60 pesos for us. The hotel booked a tour for us. Wouldve been more helpful if the tour was in English, so if your Spanish is limited i suggest looking elsewhere. There are a variety of tour companies in the centre along the street with hanging birds and cobbles. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was adequate coffee, toast, jam and pastries. And some orange juice my boyfriend liked.

Carmen and Carmine were nice hosts, and they have assembled a staff that provides excellent service. Arturo, Andres, and Joe were always ready to answer any questions and provide me with warm greetings. My room was kept spotless by the terminal. If you need to work online, like I did, they also provide high-quality wifi.

This is probably a two or three-star hotel, but I think it's enhanced by the effort they made to assist us. The walls were thin, there was no air conditioning, there was no ceiling fan, and the beds were firm. We requested a fan at least at temperatures as high as is f. They received an oscillating fan, which was a game changer. Arturo was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The towels and bedding were both very clean in the room. Excellent bargain for the money. Breakfast in the morning was coffee and mexican pastriesbread. The center square is about a 10 minute walk away. I strongly recommend taking an Uber or cab at night. It is a safe city, but outsiders may come into town during festivals and crime will ensue. They utilize bagged ice and treated water, but I still brushed my teeth with bottled water. They offered bottled water in the room. If you want to avoid high-cost lodging, particularly on the day of the dead, I would suggest this hotel. The owner of the hotel is a charming and amazing crew.

I would be very satisfied with this place. Beautiful, spotless, and with excellent service. The location is great because it is close to everything you want to see in the city. A family run business that made our stay amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better place and a better price as well.
