I would give this boutique hotel 6/5 stars if possible. The staff is wonderful and beyond helpful, especially the servers in the roof restaurant. It’s hard to believe that more people did not comment on the incredible food in the rooftop restaurant overlooking the city. Our breakfast was included in our stay, and I would rival this food with any of the great meals we had at Michelin Star restaurants we experienced on our stay. Our server Isaac was extremely helpful and so friendly, and had wonderful recommendations for us to have the best experience possible. He is a true standout in an already exceptional establishment. The rooms are comfortable but with a true modern design that made for an elevated experience. The room has a blackout wall that makes for wonderful sleep. The location is perfect for both Roma Norte and La Condesa, and for getting around the entire city. We will definitely stay here again.

We loved our little room at Casa Izel! It was close to lots of great restaurants and walkable to all the museums. The room itself was lovely, with lots of big windows, high ceilings, and a nice little balcony. The only downside was the street noise. Lots of honking in the morning and throughout the day. They provided ear plugs. The water pressure in the shower was hit or miss, but water was warm the whole time. I would definitely stay again.

Loved the aesthetics of the hotel. Good location. Very clean. The staff is very polite and super helpful. They tried so hard to fulfill our needs. I liked that it was two beds. The rooftop restaurant was good. I wish they had a gym though. The pool thing in the middle was a little weird. It had leaves in it. Nice size bathroom. They need a mirror in the room not the bathroom. It’s too dark in there. I would definitely stay there again

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Izel! There are so many beautiful and unique design elements in the hotel, with the central staircase overflowing with green plants being our favourite. The room was large and the bed comfortable making it a welcomed place to land after a long day of exploring. The neighbourhood could not have been better! We walked to most places. So many parks, coffee shops, restaurants in the area. I was blown away by Mexico City’s beauty in general, but in particular strolling through the green streets of Roma Norte and Candesa were a delight! Special mention to Saul the bartender who always made us feel welcome and gave us so many great ideas of places to go and things to do. Wish we could have stayed longer!
