Es el único hotel en Cerocahui con todos los servicios, pero en si no hay mucho que hacer. Todo es por temporadas. Yo sugeriría evitar la parada ahí. Alimentos ricos pero caro, las camas y almohadas bien pero los baños sobre todo wc muy incómodo.

El hotel es hermosisisisimo, limpio pero NO tiene WIFI... La comida no es muy buena y no hay variedad es un menú si te gusta bueno y si no pues ni modo, no te dan ni una jarra de agua tienes que comprarles la bebida y le dices a los meseros que está pasada de sal y te ignoran...Ojalá mejoren el servicio por que el hotel es divino!!!

IGNACIO

Bello y cómodo hotel situado en una pequeña población de la Sierra Tarahumara, llamada Cerocahui. Se accede a través de la estación del tren CHEPE de Babuichivo, o por carretera desde Chihuaha.. Tiene un excelente restaurante con alimentos de alta calidad y mu buenos, preparados por un joven chef. La atención es personalizada. Tiene huerto, viñedo, jacuzzi grande con agua caliente. Salón de juegos. Se realizan degustación de sus vinos que son muy buenos. El entorno es: bosque, montaña, cascada, misión jesuita del siglo 17 en muy buen estado de conservación. El camino desde Babuichivo ya está pavimentado. El hotel cuenta con transporte desde la estación. Se accede al mirador del Cerro del Gallego, en el que se tiene una vista espectacular de la Barranca de Urique y dicha población y rio en el fondo de la misma. SIMPLEMENTE SENSACIONAL Y ESPECTACULAR. Recomiendo mínimo 2 noches de estancia.

Bonito hotel muy bien ubicado, incluyen tres alimentos que están bastante buenos solo las bebidas se pagan aparte, te recogen y llevan a la estación del tren sin costo, ofrecen tours, catas de vino y queso, tienen viñedos en el hotel. Éramos 4 y nos dieron una habitación de 3 camas matrimoniales. No hay internet ni señal de celular.

I had not realized that the rooms I booked included full board. Consequently, we did not sample any of the apparently very few local establishments. The food was a big production, not standard Mexican fare, surprisingly delicious, and included vegetables! There were lots of tour groups (mostly people from Mexico City) coming in and out for one night stays at the hotel during the three nights we were there; our small group was an anomaly in this respect. We took a nice walk with Juan, a local guide. Two little boys scraped together some horses for us to ride one afternoon. We enjoyed soaking in the jacuzzi in the evening. We were there just before Easter, so there was a little carnival/market in the town square. We visited the mission school where the few tiny pupils remaining during Easter break were excited about watching a movie that they told us was to be about princesses.

Hotel Mision was a sweet little hotel in the Copper Canyon. Staff was extremely helpful. We had a wine vineyard right in front of our room - made for a lovely spot to have cocktail hour! There isn't much of a town here, but several good tours offered.

Gran sorpresa encontrar en un sitio tan remoto un extraordinario hotel. Muy amplias, cómodas y limpias habitaciones rodeadas de patios y un pequeño viñedo en los jardines de Misión Cerocahui. Muebles de colección y esmerada atención hasta en las excursiones convierten la estancia en un verdadero placer. El hotel mas caro que reservamos del recorrido por la Sierra Tarahumara y el que mas nos gustó. Buena cocina y vinos bien logrados y equilibrados ( a una increíble altura ), definitivamente volvería..

Leider konnten wir dieses schöne Hotel nur eine Nacht genießen,weil wir unsere Zugfahrt für den nächsten Tag schon gebucht hatten. Die geräumigen Zimmer sind mit bequemen Betten, einem funktionierenden Kamin, schönem Bad und einer Sitzecke mit Couch eingerichtet. Das Personal ist sehr nett und kompetent, das Essen sehr schmackhaft und reichhaltig! Das Hotel hat einen wunderschönen Garten. Vom Hotel aus haben wir eine sehr schöne Tour mit dem Führer "Martin" unternommen, der uns viel über Land und Leute hier in diesem Teil von Chihuahua erzählt hat.

Desert Dweller

We stayed at the Hotel Mision for one night during our Copper Canyon rail adventure. When we arrived at the Bahuichivo Station, the Hotel Mision Shuttle was waiting for us. Our bags were quickly loaded and we were off. We arrived at the Hotel Mision 30 minutes later. A staff member was waiting for us with delicious, complimentary margaritas. Our checkin process was swift and painless. Our room was perfect, clean and quiet. It can get chilly this time of year and there were plenty of extra blankets and firewood for the wood burning stove to keep us warm. Lunch was waiting for us and we immediately sat down to a delicious meal, starting with soup, pork chops and vegetables. After lunch, a staff member took us on a tour of the girls school and the nearby church, we were also treated to a stunning sunset. The nominally priced tour included a wine tasting of the La Mision wine. After the tour, we had time to explore on our own. Dinner was excellent and they allowed us to bring our own bottle of wine to the dinner. We went to bed that night feeling fully satisfied and well cared for. The next morning we enjoyed a full breakfast prior to heading off for the Overlook Tour. Unfortunately, when we arrived to the overlook, 45 minutes later, a huge cloud bank had engulfed the area, and there was nothing to be seen. The guide apologized profusely. Upon check out, we were surprised and delighted to learn that the Hotel did not charge us for the tour!

This is a charming hotel located in a quaint little village. The mission church and the school for the Tarahumara girls is just a short walk away. There are several tours that the hotel offers and they are reasonably priced. The food and service was excellent and they have a nice gift shop in the main lobby area. The gardens are filled with roses of every color and there was a small vineyard in front of our room. There are apple trees on the property as well. There is a small pool for a refreshing swim.

La red wifi del hotel es pésima y además hay que pagar a diario por usarla. La comida es excesivamente cara. El personal de recepción muy amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudar.
