This is an acceptable decision in El Muerte for the money, around 40 per night for a double room, and I would not classify it as 4 star or 3 but this is mexico. Ours had a double and single bed that was comfortable, free wifi, air conditioning, and a ceiling fan. There are no hot drink maker, fridge or hairdryer, and only a small shampoo and soap. The bathroom is simple and very small. Nice courtyard with comfy seats outside. A pool is available, but it wasnt open in march. Breakfast was good. Eggs and fruit are typical, but there is no choice of how to eat them and there is no fruit juice. There was no evening meal available, but there are several restaurants within walking distance. El muerte is a good place to spend a few hours because it is a fort with lovely river views, but this is primarily a place to stay overnight before or after your el chepe train journey.

This hotel is in a central location. The service and value for money is very good. The room condition is spacious and clean. The staff is also helpful and friendly. Because we are a tourist, we can't use the inviting pool pool. The information on the trip advisor website is misleading. We booked a room at a reasonable price. The breakfast cost is also reasonable.

We stayed 2 nights at this nice hotel in the heart of El Muerte. For some reason, it's in the be, but it's a regular hotel and you can order breakfast if you want. The manager, Juan, is very friendly and the place is pristine and clean. The room is spacious and airy, the shower is great, the wifi is good and the place is beautiful for relaxing. Call them directly for the best prices. Highly recommended.

This old house is very cool. The room is huge. The food at dinner was excellent, and the tequila was also excellent. Outside the property has a pool. A quiet place to stay. In the morning, the breakfast is served to order. The staff is really nice. The city center, cathedral, and fort are only a block or two away, so bring your own.
