It was exactly as described. Although small, the room was extremely comfortable. The employees were the best part! We were very welcome and were helped with everything we needed. Also, the location was ideal.

A wonderful place to stay! The location is in the historic town center, the rooms are clean and modern, everything is new and modern with all the necessary amenities. Very friendly atmosphere. A very recommended place to stay for every budget. We spent a wonderful time there..

We are in Mexico City for a few weeks and will stay here when we come back. We stayed at Roomies for a week. Roomies offers good value for money. The location is great, there are restaurants and bars everywhere for all budgets. Our room was quiet. The hostel itself is simple, with a large kitchen and small chill out area, and the rooftop is good. The reviews are correct, the hostel itself is a bit pokey, but the staff is fantastic and speaks Spanish and English. The staff are Mexican, so they provide excellent advice on things to see and do outside the usual tourist attractions.

Overall, you cannot beat the price here. This neighborhood has a lot to see and do, and hotels are priced in the trillions of dollars. Our private room did not go through, fortunately, some bunks were available in a dorm room, which was uncomfortably difficult because we were older travelers, but the management did everything in its power to fix it, and we greatly appreciated the effort. There is a great kitchen with all the cooking equipment youll require, and the place felt quite safe. If you are in a dorm room, bring your locker lock. The location was great for walking to all the great restaurants, and there is a rooftop where you can unwind and have some room to read or work. The wifi also worked admirably. As everyone has already stated, this neighborhood is loud until aplenty. And as youd expect other visitors to stay out late and have a good time or bring substantial earplugs. The restroom is also very tiny and hard to maneuver, and I am a little person. My greatest recommendation is to doublecheck with the hostel to make certain that your reservation went through. Dont assume that you are validated by application etc. You are probably not, so dont assume that youve been verified by application etc. When Ive never had a situation like this, I believe Ill keep doing it a
